    Pros +

    • Location
    • The staff was the best!! Without a doubt from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely 1st Rate!!
    • It is the bus top for Vonlane.

    Cons -

    • Valet. Some of the guys were inconsiderate. We drove in and went to the room. When we came back down after 1hr our vehicle was still running and the window was down still just how we left it.
    • Although the food, drinks, overall atmosphere was good, it was pricey. I had not stayed at the Hyatt Regency since the late 90's. It was worth it back then. Awesome entertainment, New Year's Eve celebrations were Times Square equal. WHAT HAPPENED??
    • An 8 hr stay cost me $--- That¿s ridiculous. room service was supposed to available until 10p. None of the restaurants would accept my order at 9:30p. The room was handicapped accessible when I¿d booked a reg room. The room smelled.

Best part of this hotel was the roof top pool.

Bar had very slow service, with the exception of Sunday, a new bartender. Other than the lobby, a mild smoke smell throughout the hotel, as much as it cost you would think the hotel would have a much more fresh smell

Location and hotel restaurant was very cool

I left an article of clothing in my room. I called the next day to see if it was there and they weren¿t very helpful. I did yell in the next day and a gentleman was very helpful when I went there in person but over the phone I lost in my clothing

The robotics convention and incredible number of loud kids impeding elevator access. Also the TV service is HORRIBLE, every couple minutes the tv wigs out.

room wasn't super clean at all and very out dated for the price. Our ac was also broken and staff didnt seem so care just made sure we checked out when we were supposed to.

    Freshly renovated. Clean. Great location.

    Nope, all was great.

The hotel staff were super nice from when we checked in to the valet staff. The location was perfect for our stay due to a concert. Will be recommending to anyone going to stay in Houston!

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-12-2022

The hotel staff were friendly, the valet parking was convenient and the staff there were friendly as well. Just overall a great stay.

The only issue I had, and it was a small one, was there was a stain on one of the pillow cases which told me they hadn't been cleaned since the last person stayed there. I wasn't too thrilled about that, but, I bring my own pillows so...

Clean and the staff was exceptionally nice.

difficult to get into the hotel since the Hyatt did not have a parking garage. there was a walkway, but it was tedious with my dog. I would not say they were ¿pet friendly¿. I had to carry my dog on the escalator and down the stairs to the lobby.

Newly remodeled and awesome!! I've been staying here since the late 70's and this hotel never disappoints! The architecture will blow you away! Connects to the Houston underground. I park in the Regency Parking that is not part of Hyatt but is connected.

I guess everyone wishes for free parking! :)

    3LisaPosted on: 9-27-2021

    Customer service was very nice.

Hotel room was very dirty. There was hair in the shower, mildew on the tub surface (you could see the tub water line), pink mildew on the shower curtain, and the bed spread did not look cleaned. This was supposed to be a 4.5 star hotel...it was a 2.5.

    Cost of parking

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-3-2021

    Beauty and cleanliness.

Valet parking for guests was $43.00/day. TOO EXPENSIVE! I believe that parking should be included for guests or at least a reasonable price. I parked at the parking meters on the street for $7.00/day.

    10MaribelPosted on: 9-3-2021

Loved the gym¿ had too of them line equipment and it was spotless.

    8StephaniePosted on: 9-1-2021

Didn¿t like the fact that valet parking went from $25/$30 to $40 bucks. Especially considering the fact I was evacuate from Louisiana and stayed here before a couple of months before and the price was different.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-24-2021

The king bed with a pull out couch was nice.

It is at the far corner of downtown so walking is a bit of a hike. No shuttle at this time.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-22-2021

Nice staff, Great bar area, elevator is quick, & comfortable bed.

    Aquafina water, small windows.

    4RaynaPosted on: 8-21-2021

    The room was clean.

The staff was quite rude as dismissive, especially one of the bartenders. There are many inconsistencies with what is available in the hotel and what is on the website.
