Aloft by Marriott Houston Downtown

Staff was excellent. In walking distance of Minute Maid and restaurants. We had drinks at the rooftop bar and our bartender was exceptional! Tip: It?s 50 bucks per day to valet at the hotel or you can park in the garage next door for 25 per day.

One elevator was out but it wasn?t busy enough to make a difference.

The rooms are dark, the door kept getting stuck and the lock didn't work half the time. People yelling and partying in the hallway all night. Front desk people were more concerned about visiting with others than helping you with your needs.

When we arrived at 5pm our room wasn't ready. We missed half of our event that we had drove 5 hours to attend. The air was broke in our room, it was humid and 75.We were exhausted for the 5 hr drive back home.

I loved the location, and especially the rooftop pool, and the staff were very helpful.

For the price, I think the room could have been more comfortable, and there wasn't an in room stocked fridge, nor was there room service available.

It¿s proximity to Minute Maid park

Room was not ready when we arrived. Floors in bathroom & shower were very slippery when wet. Not enough towels in the room. Not worth the price.

The location was convenient.

I had to take a cold showers because the hot water was not working properly even when it was. The property itself was dirty. The room was very loud and it was hard to sleep.

Location - downtown Houston and to Houston Hobby.

Shower was cold one day, normal the next. TV remote did not work correctly.

Check in and hotel had no water, after they fix it water was coming out brown. A\C not working properly

At the downtown, close to everything

Every snack charge a lot, no food available, very dark room, I know is modern but black is not cozy. However very clean.

Location

One of the four front desk workers that I dealt with during my stay was a thug. The other three were very professional and friendly. On my online bank statement, I saw they charged me $150 more with no explanation.

The rooms are large and comfortable. They also have nice features such as a mini refrigerator.

There room doesn't have a closet or any place to hang up clothes. An iron would also be nice for business travelers.

Everything was good and front desk associate was nice and offered us a free waters.

Location near to a party we were attending.

Truck was vandalized while parked, room had paint chipping and was all over the floor by that window. Couldn't have been cleaned or it would not have been on the floor still. Bed was hard, and lobby smelled like people had been vaping in it.

Front desk staff and valet attendants were extremely nice and helpful.

None of the pictures on line portray the hotel at all. They are all edited I would say. No lights on the building, no fancy furniture on the roof by the pool, pool extremely small, room the size of a closet, etc
