Heights House Hotel - Houston Heights Downtown an Ascend Collection Hotel

Motel doesn’t have refrigerator, microwave, no desk. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. No breakfast options. They provide just bagels and some muffins.

The staff here is wonderful and truly doing their best given the circumstances (see comments below).

Our room had a hole in the wall and a ring of mold around one of the outlets. On two nights, we had to call the front office staff due to excessive noise at 1 and 3 AM. The staff responded to each call and immediately handled the complaints.

Would prefer pool to be open from 8am for swimming

The Staff was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was inviting. Free parking and the pool area was very nice.

Staff was friendly and responsive. Provided nice soap, shower cap and coffee.

Shower didn¿t have much water pressure. Toilet didn¿t have much water pressure. Beds weren¿t very comfortable.

Heights House is the bomb! Great pimped out hotel.Pool,bar,rooms! Usually stay downtown,not anymore! Love the Heights House

......Sorry to say,you're in the hood!Surrounding neighborhood is not so safe to walk at night.

Room door had a pretty significant hole at the bottom, so made it noisier than it needed to be.

It was fun to stay here. Plus¿menu, well maintained pool, cool dj, very clean, friendly staff.

thought the breakfast offering was lacking. No juice/water for my kiddo. Nothing hot,No cereal,No fruit. I was really surprised. Also not a prob for me but not everyone will appreciate the please don¿t do coke in bathroom neon sign.

Old building but very clean remodel and cool style

Live music was too loud until 2 am. The rooms were literally vibrating. Impossible to fall asleep.

It was what was advertised. It was nicely renovated. Onsite night life. Great staff!

The outside patio area was nice. It was nice to sit out and order food and drinks.

I did not feel safe. There was a disturbance in the hotel room next door. I was woken up at 5am by a man screaming and crashing of glass. He had thrown something through his room window. I called the front desk. Security came as well as cops. We left!

The patio is very nice to enjoy drinks on with friends! The style and aesthetic of the hotel is very poppy and funky! Staff were all amazing!

The hotel was great, the food was delicious, and the Dj by the pool had us dancing all afternoon!

Only draw back was the pricing on the drinks; there was a drink that could be split ¿2-4¿ people but honestly it could be for 1-2 people.

The vibe at the pool was amazing. The staff was pleasant and quick to get us checked in along with a printed copy of everything we needed to know. The DJ was awesome and the fish tacos were delicious. The room was very tidy and clean.

The beds are not that comfortable nor the pillows. There was a bit of a mold smell from the ac unit.

Location and price

The pool needed attention. They had trash floating in it and it was very hazy. They also have pool hours that don¿t start until 10am. That¿s to late when they want you out by 11. And sun comes up at 7am

People who work there, attitude and hospitality are excellent

Beds in hostel need to be replaced, ALL linens should be washed I noticed the comforters are not washed just folded and placed on beds for new guest & that’s not sanitary!
