    Pros +

    • The room service was outstanding!
    • I loved the location and the free water & coffee in the lobby.
    • Ot was close to the concert venue and that?s why we booked the hotel.

    Cons -

    • There was a bottle of water that had been opened sitting in the room where I could half drank after someone. I was awakened by the tv blasting at 3am and was not able to go back to sleep. The volume would not go down below 10. The desk did not help.
    • The rooms are very old and the hotel is poorly made. It made me feel like I was in an old dated hotel with new appliances and furnishings. It?s was poorly kept and not up to the 4star standard it has on here.
    • Hated the place. The concierge staff was incredibly rude, the room was stinky like mold and mildew and it would not cool down. We paid way too much money for a room worth maybe $-- a night.

    Close to Minte Maid Park

Small valet drop off and pick up area. Valet is extremely expensive. Reserved a king bed room. checked in at 1620 and they told me they sold out the room and offered me a double queen. Crazy how you reserve something and they give it away!

My room was available 15 minutes after check-in time, even though I arrived 2 hours early.

Hotel was charming for its age. Great location.

When we arrived, 15 mins after check in. The ceiling started pouring out water. Went to front desk and they were not very helpful. Maintenance man showed up and he was very friendly. They had a bucket in the ceiling, that tells me this has happened before

    Good coffee, location, nice staff

Way too many dogs in this hotel; barking at all hours of the night and disruptive in the lobby.

    10MaryPosted on: 6-20-2022

I love the ambiance, nice location, staff was friendly. This was my third time staying at the hotel. I would definitely stay again

    All was good

The staff member I checked in with was very nice. His name had todo with a holiday. The rest of the front desk staff seemed like they didn't want to be there.

The room smelled like dog pee. The bathroom was dirty. The iron didn't work and when it did work it left rust marks everywhere. When we called the front desk the 1st time no one answered 2nd time we were on hold for 3 minutes and then someone replied.

Very clean and well decorated hotel with great ambience.

I have never seen so many dogs in a hotel. Numerous dogs could be heard barking throughout the day and into the night. I also witnessed two large dogs trying to get at other dogs in the lobby startling everyone within earshot.

Location, staff was very informative and nice when we asked questions. The views from the rooftop pool.

Ice and vending machine were hard to find. Not located on every floor.

    Lobby

Room could have had a better view. Room door had a gap that what quite noticeable. We could easily see outside and hear the outside hallways noise.

Great location! Nice hotel design and amenities.

I had trouble checking in because my credit card had issues. I prepaid for the hotel room, but the staff member was concerned about the $100 deposit for incidentals. I offered to pay the deposit in cash. I understand the security issue involved.

During check in the the front desk rep was not welcoming are professional . She just gave me my key card did not give me the room number ,did not tell me about the lounge on the 2nd fl.Her attitude gave that she did not feel like being bothered

The pool was dirty and I had chose this location specifically for the pool.

Beautiful building. The rooms were neat and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. My second stay at the Magnikia and will definitely be going again.

Not. A. Thing. There wasn¿t anything to dislike.

    1QuinnPosted on: 4-18-2021

The hotel had approximately 8 parking spots Not good a very good area to be in. You had to have a keycard to enter hotel for safety reasons, but no place to park and walk safely to the room.

    10JorgePosted on: 6-10-2020

The most things I liked about the hotel was the cleanest, also the staff was very professional and caring. They also were very attentive to our needs. However the sanitation was very highly visible,They have sanitation dispensary all over the hotel. .

The only thing that I did not feel comfortable about was that the hotels restaurants in the pool or not open because of the Covid 19 virus.
