i like that it was located where the main street is

yes, the room floors were dirty, no remote to the tv. the door top lock was broken

Nothing, room wasn¿t ready, everything looked dirty, the area did not look nice at all.

I did not like anything about this hotel

I like the fact that I have a job that pays daily and sometimes my pay is late these people are very nice and understood the problem

I traveled to Houston for a medical appointment at a cancer center. I am a Stage IV cancer patient, and this trip was medically necessary. When booking my reservation, It was specifically noted that I would not be charged until arrival and that early check-in was available upon request. Because I am unfamiliar with the Houston area and traveling alone as a female, safety, cleanliness, and the ability to rest were critical factors in selecting this hotel.Unfortunately, I experienced none of these.I arrived at the hotel at approximately 1:00 PM and was informed that I would not be allowed to check in early, despite being told that the room was ready. I was also denied access to a restroom. During this time, there were individuals loitering in the street and along the fence at the hotel driveway, which made me feel unsafe.Due to these conditions, I requested to cancel my stay and receive a refund. This request was denied, and I was informed that the booking was nonrefundable. Having no other immediate option, I checked in after my doctor’s appointment later that day.The first room I was given was unacceptable. The room smelled strongly of urine, and upon inspection, there was dried urine splattered on the floor between the beds and under the shelving. The floor was visibly filthy; when I used a towel to wipe it, the towel became black. This condition was unsanitary and entirely inappropriate, especially for someone undergoing cancer treatment.I requested a room change and was moved to another room around 11:00 PM. While this room did not smell of urine, it smelled strongly of marijuana. At that point, I was exhausted and simply wanted to sleep.Unfortunately, sleep was not possible. The room faced the freeway and was subjected to constant loud traffic, revving engines, squealing tires, vehicles loitering in the parking lot, and repeated police and ambulance sirens throughout the night.

Window with hole in it, door with huge gap at bottom, no shower that was wheelchair assesable. Sheets were nasty with blood stains. There was black dried on skin on toliet no frige or microwave until noon the next day. No working phone in room. And they weed smoking next door and management did nothing. I want a refund because I was told they gave my room that was prepaid for was giving to someone else. I litterly was trapped in my room because of the people next didn't want to sleep and just kept partying. I felt very unsafe but had no options because I asked for a refund and was told booking.com doesn't allow it.

I like the fact that the room was very nice with the kitchenette and everything. It exceeded our expectations

I did not like that there was no hot water for my family and I to shower, so we had to use cold water instead. And I did not like the fact that the whole time we were there, the staff did not come knock on our door the next morning to change our linens for the beds, nor bring us clean fresh towels. We went out and purchased towels from Walmart

The hotel was super clean, no roaches at all, staff as always were very friendly and prompt to attend our needs. Its location and the fact that is pet friendly is a great plus. We will definitely use this Studio 6 for all our future stays in Houston.

Even though there are signs posted on hotel’s green areas regarding the guests dogs’ waste pickup, most tenants ignore this law and don’t clean after their pets.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Ived stayed at Studio 6 before but never one in this bad of a condition. I could tell by the guests checking in that we had made a bad mistake, some of these people didn't look like they were up to any good TBH, check in was simple but it felt like we were enclosed in an interrogation room when doing our check in. we got to our elevator to get to our rooms (2) and even the elevator was small, old smelling and cramped. we thought we were going to be staying with the view overlooking NRG stadium but instead we got sent way to the very back of the motel facing old trees and a building away from any persons. The hallway flooring was torn up . filthy and worn down, dirt stuck on the bottom of all the walls. we could smell weed all the way to our rooms, we went inside our rooms and they were hot and smelling old, in one of the rooms the lights weren't even working, and both rooms smelled really old. the AC filters were dirty which may be why they weren't cooling, my friends said they were ok with all of that but honestly, i didn't feel safe for myself or for them and the conditions were not anywhere to standard for a studio 6, we didn't ask for a refund we just left after about 30 minutes, we went across town and got a much nicer place, never going back!

I liked that they had a working elevator, washing machine and ice maker. The beds were comfortable and having a large refigerator was very helpful during our long stay.

We were there for 2 weeks. I called the desk midway through our stay to request that housekeeping change our sheets. They dropped off the sheets and asked us to take our sheets off and remake our own beds. Not once did housekeeping come to our room to even take out the trash. The walkways needed paint and those who are lodging there as their home, sit outside their rooms smoking cigarettes and pot which smelled awful when you had to walk by them. There was a pool but it had not been used for a long time... the plastic covering was sunk down with the weight of a lot of stagnant water which is nothing more that a dangerous place for a stray child to find and a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

the room smelt like sewer water and they have roaches I stayed for maybe 3/4 hours max and found somewhere else to stay it was a absolutely disgusting and stains on the beds

I love that Studio 6 is pet friendly. Property is in a very good location. Studio is roomie and clean, kitchen appliances in great working condition, hotel has ample lighted parking, staff is friendly. Hotel has a great price.

There was a lot of mold on walls and ceiling in the back rooms on first floor. We cleaned all mold in our room, mold was back within five days; we slept wearing facemasks. We reported this issue to staff, they said they will work to fix the problem. Room would be more comfortable if there was sitting facilities, our room was too dark, if lights were higher on the wall or better yet on ceiling, instead of on the nightstands,lighting would be much better. I just wish tenants would pickup after their pets.

The room was clean

The pool was black and I booked a room that comes with hot plate and coffee they wanted me to pay 50 dollars for it and we couldn’t get towels till the next day

The room interior was ok. Staff was approachable and location was ok as there were convenient stores and a gas station right at the corner.

All areas leading to the room and the general environment of the facility was poor, not appropriately kept and smelly.
