    Pros +

    • The best hotel near MD Anderson that makes you forget why you are here if you are in Houston for medical reasons. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Everyone was able to relax in their own space when we had down time. Amazing staff!
    • Has a rain shower with shower wand. The bathroom is really nice and has a Dyson hair dryer. Nice lighting system in the bedroom. And love the beach look with tasteful colors. Has a great roof top pool with the sounds of the ocean.

    Cons -

    • One day, my phone was not working. This got fixed and one day housekeeping did not leave hand towels in the room.
    • Know up front every single guest they only have valet parking. If you want to park your self you have to go a block over and is cheaper. The restaurant is set up for sushi but doesn't do it. The small gym is pelotan only.
    • Plumbing didn?t work well, key card failed every time I went out, asked for maid service but never got it,

This was a lovely hotel. The room was decorated very nicely and was extremely clean. It was also very conveniently located to the medical office where I had an appointment.

Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent service.

FAILURE TO DISCLOSE VALET PARKING REQUIRED AT $49 PER NIGHT. NO OTHER OPTION. THE OWNER SOLD THE PARKING GARAGE TO ANOTHER COMPANY SO YOU HAVE TWO BUSINESSES UNDER ONE ROOF. PARKING FEES SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE DAILY PRICE ADVERTISED. THIS IS UNACCEPTAB

The hospitality was amazing! I was a little testy just because I was unaware about the 50.00 per night valet parking that we had to do. They were very patient with me and apologetic which made me realize that it?s not their vault they don?t make the rules

That mandatory 50.00 valet parking service.

Patrice at the front desk was so pleasant at check in! The lobby and room was clean, modern and spacious.

No option to on-site self park - $65/day valet cost incld taxes was ridiculous especially in light of the almost 30 min wait for the car! The in-room coffee machine didn?t work making a coffee run (x3) necessary. Sun nite food: sub-par as was wait staff.

    7Verified guestPosted on: 3-17-2025

    Clean and architecturally pleasing.

The Blossom, level 13 was supposed to be open at noon according to the information provided at check in. We left at 4:20 pm and still not open. Toilet was loud and ran for 15 min after flush. They ran out of tissues, so they did not refill the container.

Rooms are large and well appointed.

Hot water to the 12th floor was inconsistent.

    4Verified guestPosted on: 1-20-2025

The room and bathroom was very nice

We were met with a $50, required valet parking as soon as we arrived. This was not helpful and I had to wait longer for valet to bring my car then it would have taken to get my car myself. The restaurant was also overpriced and underwhelming.

The water was not hot at all and we had to call maintenance up because the heat was not working also they made us pay 75 extra dollars when I was told the room might not be ready upon our arrival then it changed when she said I had to pay 75 dollars

The staff, our room, beautiful lobby, restaurant (although we didn?t get to go this trip), the valet guys are the best.?always great us like they are really happy to see us! AND.?delicious iced teas right in the lobby!

    Nope!

    10Verified guestPosted on: 12-3-2024

The staff was very kind.?all of them! I?m a patient at MD Anderson which is just down the street. I loved being taken to my appointments and surgery in their car. I felt like a family member was dropping us off! Wonderful?on our way back!

    The location

I stayed here for 5 nights and from the time I arrived till I left I had to ask for wash clothes every single day. There was one in the room when we arrived and it?s like they act like a wash cloth is a piece of gold. The carpet in the room was dirty!

    10AndreaPosted on: 11-12-2024

The king premium room was extremely large.. clean .. comfortable and safe

    5TimothyPosted on: 11-9-2024

    Lovation

Yes they seem to think that a wash cloth is not necessary at this place been here 5 night?s and have had to ask five wash cloths every single day!

    1ErikPosted on: 11-4-2024

    Close to NRG Stadium

The A/c in my room didn?t work. Manager and engineer told me I had to close the blinds and have a special setting on the thermostat for it to work properly. Then stood in my room for 30 minutes at night making excuses before finally moving me.
