Best Western Premier Houston Downtown/Convention Center Hotel

Great location for the Astros game. Great price.

Construction going on around and parking was not free as stated.

Location and staff

It is a bit dated. Guests were sometimes loud

The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.

The hot tub was cold and I. Requested it to be warmed up and it didn't happen. The Char door in our room about fell off and there was a big gap in the door on the lock side, there wasn't a lot of parking. Up front, and it had a funny smell.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious fresh food every day white glove service. And the beds were comfortable. The decor was nice. It was a really good hotel.

I was completely satisfied with my stay. If I come to Houston, I would not mind staying there again.

There was so much construction around the property with only one particular route of entry and there was very limited parking. We were given a handicapped room and I had to request to be moved to non handicapped room. Body wash bottle was conditioner.

I have stayed at this hotel before and was very happy with it. This stay however disappointed us as it is under remodeling and due to it the hotel very dirty, cluttered and safety hazard. So much that the hotel was on fire the alarms did not work.

Location and amenities. This hotel is rated a 2.5 but the quality of the room, breakfast, and staff it should have a 4 star rating.

There was a lot of construction going on making it difficult to get to the hotel but I understand it's temporary.

The location is really great and the breakfast had a good selection. It was under construction so some more discounts should be offered. It served its purpose but I was a bit disappointed.

Everything was under construction, very little parking, the pool has no ventilation so you inhale chlorine when jacuzzi is on.

Room was nice and breakfast was awesome. Staff was real good they work with you on the parking during the construction phase

Construction outside and no air conditioner in the hallway but all in all the room was awesome the food was awesome and the manager. Didn't care for the pool it looked like a bathtub that was Green with a lot of kids swimming that's honest

Floors in the rooms felt like they were fakilling so room leaned. First room was crooked bed was leaning bathroom smelled like mold. Second room they gave us was crooked as well. Bathroom was better but floor was so crooked the shower door stayed open

It was under construction, looked abandoned. TV didn't work, restroom door would get stuck & could not open.

Close to the convention center, free breakfast, free parking.

The front part of this hotel, outside of the front doors, has been under construction for a year. There is not enough parking, but lots of empty diamond elite parking places. It is very difficult to get in and out the front door.

The king size mattress overlaped the box spring and resulted in mattress popping up when sitting on one side.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were cleaned well. Excellent front desk manager who provided quality professional service.

I booked 2 rooms, one of them had issues that needed maintenance to fix. Small inconvenience, overall good experience.

It was right across the street from the Toyota Center, which is where we were attending. The room was clean and the attendants were all nice and helpful.

There was a night club a couple blocks down and we could hear every beat and note they played. Not the hotel's fault, but it could bother other guests who stay there, especially on a Saturday night. There were also hairs in the shower.

The kitchen staff were on top of things and kept that area very clean

The room was dirty, the carpet was full of moisture and they wouldn't switch us to another room. The door didn't lock, outlets didn't work. It was just horrible for the price we paid i would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car.

The location was good for the Toyota Center.

The Hotel advertised free parking, but there were no open parking spaces. We had to park in a pay-parking lot nearby. Also, the housekeeping staff started vacuuming the hallway outside our door at 5AM, and beat on the door at 9am and 10am. Rude.

Closeness to the Toyota Center as well as good parking.

Hotel needs a common area and room upgrade.

We chose this hotel due to location and hot tub and the pictures online made it appear to be a nice hotel.

The pictures online did not match the hotel. The hotel was old and needed a lot of remodeling. The hot tub was cold!
