Hyatt Place Houston Downtown

Everyone was really nice

I paid for higher level room and my view was a brick wall

The staff was excellent.

We were expecting a high rated stay as this is a Hyatt but our bed was infested with bed bugs. We brought this to the staff's attention.

Perfect location for walking to an Astros game! Breakfast was delicious! Hotel was very clean. Set up of the room was cool. Public parking garage nearby was only $12, not bad for downtown parking. Would recommend Frank¿s nearby for some good pizza!

Rooms were a little tight, but we had it at max capacity. Breakfast area could use additional seating but downtown hotels are often short on space. Otherwise, great stay!

Clean, lots of space, organized, convenient location.

Initial staff was checking me into the wrong room.He told me they did not have other rooms available and that the only one vacant was on the third floor.Told him I specifically paid for a City View room. Another employee overheard and made it right for me

The location was perfect! Close to everything I needed, the room was huge & breakfast was amazing. The staff was very helpful & friendly. I have already recommended the hotel to others.

We decided to go to an Astros game , last minute. We decided to book here and do not regret our decision. Minute Maid Park was walking distance. The only parking we had to worry about was valet. It¿s a bit pricey + tip, but worth it.

I would like to see bigger hotel suites. Walking space was minimal

Very clean and easily accessible; valet was quick and respectful, as was the front desk.

Went to the hotel bar 15 mins before closing to get a cocktail on the way to my room. I sat for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and then they proceeded to tell me they were closed even though it was now 9:50 and they closed at 10. Lazy,inadequate.

When I checked in I was alone and the valet saw that I had two bags and some shopping bags he insisted on helping me getting me a carrier and taking my bags. I saw that he had other guest coming ,but he helped me into the Lobby and taking care of my car.

The location was perfect. There were so many restaurants and bars within walking distance or just a short Uber ride away. The hotel was clean and felt very updated and the bed was so comfortable! I will definitely stay here again.

LOCATION!! Just a couple blocks/5-10 min walk to Minute Maid Park :-)
