Pros +
- It is well within walking distance to Port Terminals 25 and 28. Great staff, location and all around vibe.
- Location to the cruise lines
- The hotel its self is beautiful in a beautiful location. The problem I ran into was kids running and yelling down the halls from 9pm to all night . I understand it¿s kid¿s friendly I have three my self but there was no parent supervision .
Cons -
- When checking in we were attacked by mosquitos in the lobby. I understand we are on the water but, not sure if anything can be done in the lobby to prevent guests from being bitten while checking in.
- There was a constant banging outside our window - it was incredibly loud. Couldn?t sleep. Did not appreciate the ?upgrade? to a room with a view.

Our room was located at the end of the hallway so that we had a great view of the cruise ship & harbor. Beautiful!
Loved the cleanliness of the hotel and of the beautiful room that we had. The staff was super nice and very helpful. The hotel was wonderful views and was very close to many shops and museums.
No loved everything about it
Location. Close to everything. Bed was comfortable. Staff was great.
The light outside of the room was bright, lighting up the interior so was more difficult to sleep. No breakfast due to COVID.
This hotel is in a good location. The room is big and the beds are comfortable.
The room was very large and spacious and super close to the cruise port.
There isn't all that much for someone without a car to do at this hotel and the beds were very uncomfortable.
The hotel itself is still being remodeled, but the dust and mold in the showers was unacceptable. We had to change rooms 3 times, but the front desk lady was so sweet an accommodating. She did what was expected as best as she could. Location awesome!
No onsite pool
I loved the room, especially the bathroom.
The walls had lots of scuff marks and could have used a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast did not have any protein options, just lots of carbs.
The location was great being close to the strand but on the pier and we enjoyed the happy hour at the Olympia Grill that was right next door. The room was large and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.
The breakfast was very limited and I actually just had the coffee due to the very limited choices.
Location
Noise, lack of interest from staff, malfunctioning air conditioner, poor quality of breakfast
Very close to Galveston Party Boats and Olympia Grill. Great location.
Hotel employee was the best at the front desk. Very friendly and professional.
Very nice and comfortable room. Would have liked continental breakfast to have been earlier so we could have taken advantage of it. Nice location.
Guy that works the front desk needs to like his job more.
Great location; walked to cruise port
No bathtub; No on-sight Jacuzzi and the room was very noisy with hallway noise echoing throughout the night. Too expensive for what you get!
Hotel in a walking distance from cruise port, delishies food on restorants on pier 21walking to down town .they arrange shuttle to sister propertyes : hotel spa Gslvez ( sea wall) and Fremont house ( down town) . Manager was inviting
Danishes and bagel and yougurs for breakfast , but with all good restorants and sturbuks around - you have many options
The room was very comfortable and very convenient to our cruise. We ended up being delayed by one day for our cruise and the hotel was very accommodating in letting us add on a second night.
A little more variety for the breakfast would be nice.
This is a great place to stay. Within walking distance to the Strand Historic district with nice restaurants adjoining and adjacent. 2nd time we've stayed here, will definitely stay here again.
No negatives about this hotel.
While there were several lamps in the room with 3 way bulbs, the room was still not very bright even with the bulbs turned to the high level. It made reading difficult. Otherwise the hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay.
The location can't be beat. So easy to walk to The Strand, hang out and enjoy the water view or get up and get on your cruise ship.
This may be a weird remark but it really bugged me. There is a frosted window between the bathroom and room. When someone goes inside and turns on the light, it lights up the room. It's a design item that isn't needed.
