Howard Johnson by Wyndham Galveston

The only good thing about this hotel was how kind the hospitality worker was and I only spoke to her after hours.

There was mold on the shower curtain, roaches, the night staff wasn't accommodating. The breakfast wasnt good there were gnats/fruit flies flying in the container where the muffins were the coffee was so watered down so we went down one day didn't return.

The beds were very comfortable and we had very good water pressure in the shower.

Hotel is aged and needs some love. Tub needed to be replaced because the tub floor was very rough and dirty. Draining was not helping it’s cause, either.

To manys fly 🪰 in the room remote for TV didn't work could not sleep in my bed 😴 didn't feel safe our view was a swap dark at night no lights would never get a room from ya'll not a happy camper.

The “breakfast” that was included was no more than toast, and cold cereal. The bathroom was roach infested.

Location, right when you enter Galveston.

It was needing a face lift, crack in walls, need new tub, cleaner smoking room, the smell. The bed was comfortable and seemed new.

The view outback by the train tracks The bed was super comfortable The sheets were super soft The room was cozy

The breakfast was basic cereal, muffins, toast, etc.

Breakfast was awful.?a few bruised apples, packaged oatmeal, one cinnamon roll. Rough!

The guest services was at the top of the scale the young gentleman that works in the evening very helpful and very plain spoken very nice young man

Parking rates for a cruise

Management sucks and the rooms are not clean. They make up prices based on what race you are. Burn marks on the carpet from an iron..

Price, cleanliness and staff were great 2 beds

At a truck stop not near anything. Used Uber eats to get dinner and wine

Loved the location. We wanted to stay away from the heavy traffic along the sea wall.

I was disappointed with the breakfast that was included. Other places have a full breakfast while this one only offered the bare basics such as cereal, oatmeal and muffins. Other than that our stay was awesome.

Railway track is very close to the hotel. They hold 50 dollars deposit.

Easy access off of 45, short Uber ride to cruise terminal. If you just want a cost effective good nights sleep before you start your cruise this is your hotel. I will use it from now on because you can stay fir $48 and Park for $5 a day!

We've stayed here for years to have Free cruise parking. They now charge for cruise parking.

They gave me a room on the1st floor

I could hear all the loud conversations from the room next door, and also the loud trains that pass behind the hotel

Not clean , rooms had Flys, no toilet paper , mold in showers , sheets didn't look clean discovered all this the ten minutes I was there that why I went to the Hilton

Room was unkept. Water dripped from the shower. Wanted a 50$ deposit for a room that needed much attention. Hotel is right on the rail road tracks. Blasted horns in the middle of the night.

The room was very clean. The front desk was a quick check and and the people were nice. The beds were comfy.

I liked the room I was assigned because my car was right in front of my door.i also liked the friendliness of the staff when asked about ice, washer and dryer.

The restroom had a little smell that I couldn't distinguish what it was but it wasn't unbearable.
