Pros +
- Clean linens, free breakfast, quiet room and excellent location.
- Very clean. Room was nice and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Nightly rate was reasonable.
- Distance to the Kay Bailey Convention Center
Cons -
- They should take on another staff member. Several times I had to wait at the front desk as no one was manning it. The room could have used an overhead light. The few lamps were insufficient to light the space to a comfortable level.
- The $55 per night valet parking. That cost us an additional $110 for the one night. The app asked if we also wanted to leave a tip. This is not a luxury hotel. I would have been OK with $25-30, but $55/night is a "deal killer" for the future.
- Air conditioning went out on seventh floor, had to switch rooms, they didn?t call me to tell me, to tell me it wasn?t fixed, as I was in sessions away working. Got back to my room, hit, and it was not fixed. Had to relocate to floor six, late to event.
