Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Canyon

This hotel was exactly as described in all the reviews. Our family had such a comfortable stay while in town for a wedding. It was a great breakfast in the mornings, the staff was super friendly, and the hotel was quiet despite being at capacity.

How close this hotel was to Palo Duro State Park

Yes, when we arrived at the hotel they had some homeless people lying on the ground by the front doors. Also, the water temperature for the shower was not working properly. We arrived late to the hotel and wanted to take a hot shower to relax.

Very clean, nice big room, very comfortable

Friendly accommodating staff. I was out of town and needed to reserve a room for my aging in-laws. The staff was patient, answering questions and reassured me I was choosing the best room for my very special guests. My family loved it.

Did not feel welcome from the housekeeping. Started slamming doors as they were cleaning rooms at 7 or 8am. Thought it was other guest being inconsiderate, but realized it was housekeeping. Housekeeping walked into room at 830 even though we had a do not disturb on the door, then at 1055 am they were at the room banging in the door to make sure we were leaving. Checkout was 11am. I could have stayed next door for $100 less, but have usually liked this hotel. Will think twice before I book again.

Exceptionally well designed and equipped hotel with laundry and free parking and a great breakfast. Spotless facility and room. Comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.
