We don't go to Big Spring often, but when we do, we always try to stay at Hampton Inn. We know what to expect: clean rooms, friendly staff, good food (breakfast with lots of choices), a convenient location near the major highways, and excellent security.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast spread has a fairly good selection. Overall, good for an overnight stay to break a long drive.
Only close-by eating place is Starbucks. One has to drive to get dinner; not convenient especially when arriving late
Great location, super clean, quiet and pet free, so no allergy issues.
Two pieces of workout equipment were out of order, which is 2/5 of what they have.

The room seemed to be in disrepair. A tile was missing, there were visible patches on the walls, and the furnishing seemed rougher than expected.

It was spring break so there were many kids and it got kind of loud at night.

The clerk at checkin gave us the wrong room and took 5 minutes to explain it and show our reservation to finally get the correct room plus was double charged and still waiting to get that corrected.

Not clean in room. Bathroom handicap very poor needs updated with walk -in shower.
