Studio 6 Austin, TX - Airport

Front desk rep very courteous and helpful. Nice to see security guard patrolling when we left at 4 AM. Clean room.

Misleading to call it Studio 6 on booking sites. This is a Motel 6, a budget motel option.

The location of the hotel was wonderful and happy the staff was very helpful

There was no silverware in the hotel.

It is a good basic hotel and perfect for someone who needs a small, economy room but also one with a sink, large refrigerator, microwave, and stove! No frills, no breakfast, just the basics.

No breakfast in the morning but that is common with the times these days. Coffee pot in the room wouldve been nice at least.

This was the worst hotel I've been to in a long time. Staff was rude and unhelpful.

This hotel is newer and is always clean and comfortable. We enjoy having the space that a small suite gives, with a table to work or eat at, etc. The internet works well. There is no breakfast but they have coffee in the morning, and the gas station right across the street has good inexpensive Mexican breakfasts to go, if needed.

I mean the view from window and location aren’t why you’re there - it was priced right and clean

No supplies in the kitchenette so not sure how that was supposed to be used

We usually stay here when visiting Austin. We always have a car so we don't need it to be walkable to restaurants, we just like that it has parking, a good fridge, areas to sit and work in the room and decent wifi. The room is a good size, clean and works well for us.

Not sure what happened but they didn’t hold my reservation. Rocked up at 11pm and no hint of my reservation.

The location, price, and the laundry facilities were good. In general, the Staff were pleasant. The mini kitchenette came in handy as eating out daily is not healthy or budget friendly.

While the Housekeeping staff themselves were friendly, the once a week cleaning -- strictly based on their schedule -- was difficult and off-putting. When i could not accommodate a thursday @ 4PM cleaning time, I was told I would have to wait until the following Thursday (neither helpful nor sanitary). Also, in general, the place seems not-as-well-maintained and understaffed -- which would explain the very rude young lady at the front desk (who i observed talking to Customers with a 'take it or leave it' attitude). But I won't hold all staff accountable for one or two people's unprofessionalism.

I checked in late and out fairly early so basically only slept and spent time in the room. The room was what I would expect for a "6" hotel. Room was clean and comfortable.

There were not a lot of places to eat nearby.

The housekeeping was nice.

The shower water pressure was horrible. A roach was in the bathroom. The homeless in the area were loud at night.
