Aloft by Marriott Austin Downtown

The location for the purpose of our visit was incredible and the staff were all incredible. It was really the hotel front desk and porter staff that made the experience so much better. Water pressure and shower was amazing.

Rooms are getting dated and have an odd layout that made getting dressed and ready odd. Also they have insanely heavy pocket doors that take a lot of strength to push and pull for the toilet and shower area.

Employee at front desk where we checked was very welcoming. Every staff we encountered was amazing.

We liked everything. I guess the only thing was that there is no self parking and no pool.

rooms are on the small size, shower pressure could be better, prefer a more secure door to the toilet area. sliding door didn't fully close. overall though, the aloft room layout was smart and there were ample shelves and drawers. We'd come back.

The location was great.

I did not like the fact that there was no pool, and the price was too high considering that the hotel was basic. Parking was too expensive.

Don't care at all about their customers was there during storm and tried to extend stay and was basically kicked out. I'll never go back, absolute embarrassment

Location was great right downtown, walk to museums, food, bars, and the in-house bar is really nice.

$48 to park per night as a guest is a little excessive, I stay in major cities like Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and most hotels are $20 or less a night, if not include parking if you are a registered guest.

Convenient for our event.

The rooms are fine but there are no hooks anywhere in the bathroom for our toiletry bags and no place to hang damp towels.

This was a good location with a fun hotel bar and coffee shop/breakfast place. Parking is somewhat of a challenge as it is expensive to Valet park and somewhat awkward to self park in city garages.

Convenient to walk to wherever we like to go and the hotel is awesome they have a bar and a restaurant it has everything you need. We love it and stay every time we visit Austin tx.
