Origin Austin, a Wyndham Hotel

Very nice location

Can’t drink the water from the tap, need more towel hooks, lots of noise from the street

Amazing staff! Location was good and room cleanliness was on point.

The rooms are SMALL, unless you get a suite. Either way, both are overpriced.

The Origin hotel has been a good choice for several of our trips to Austin. The location and quality of service were always so nice in the past. Due to our last experience, we will not be using this hotel again.

Room/Halllway was in the middle of a large party group that provided loud music, excessive talking, etc. throughout the 2 nights of our stay. We contacted the front desk. Every reply was that they had received many complaints. Nothing was ever done.

great location, very clean, great restaurant

the sliding door in the bathroom doesn't really give any privacy

The location was great. Staff was friendly. Very comfortable beds.

Could here the people next door use the bathroom. Couldn¿t hear anything else though.

Location was perfect. Easy to travel throughout the city. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

We could hear neighboring room television and some conversation. Water pressure left a bit to be desired.

Great place, location! To the guy at the front desk the evening of October 22nd, never had a chance to thank you for the bottle of champagne for my wife and I's 20th anniversary! Thank you so much!!! Bottle was saved and will be enjoyed this weekend!

Brand new. So clean. Very friendly staff and they have an awesome pet deal - temporary dog bed and yeti bowls plus the restaurant offers a pet dish for $6!

Getting in and out of there is a mess but that's just the area. I am gluten-free and didn't have many options in walking distance with my pup, but again, that's more about the area's development.

The location

Parking fee

Great family holiday weekend! A great location with superb shopping and restaurants.

Everything, great staff, clean rooms!

Super friendly staff from top to bottom

bedding was a little uncomfortable. sheets need higher thread count. mattress and pillows were a little hard

Staff, Heather excellent Service ?

TV did not work properly, internet ?, they charge me for water which I didn't drink.

Amenities were excellent. The front lobby was so welcoming and nicely decorated. Additionally, Adrian went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable more than once. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Adrian is a gem!

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like.

Location, parking, walkability, giant park nearby.Friendly staff.

HVAC noise. It may have been inevitable since we were on the top floor.12” deep cabinets are too shallow.Room was a little small. No coffee in lobby.Breakfast was a little small for the money.

Comfortable bed, convenient amenities, courteous staff.

Great area, very walkable

AC vents needed to be cleaned, debris on floor and table from vents

This hotel is an authentic Austin gem. Everything is fabulous from the staff, to the Blue Lacy Restaurant, the location adjacent to a beautiful, active park and restaurants within a short stroll.

Likes: location close to restaurants, shoppes, movie theatreEasy, close drive to UT-AustinConvenient access to parking garage across streetRestaurant within hotelClean roomComfortable bedSpacious clean shower w/quality bath products Housekeeping cleans room daily Quick check in & check outHotel lobby decorated beautifully for Christmas Heat/air conditioning works well

Dislikes: Water pressure at sink too lowSoft water - feels like all soap isn’t out of hair after showerRestaurant hours & menu offerings are limitedFront desk wasn’t staffed at 3:45am the morning I departed - desk sign said “be back shortly” - would’ve been nice to know someone was present when I had to walk to parking lot alone at that hour.$25 fee per night for parking (not valet)

Ryan and Lois at Front Desk worked hard to make all of our special requests met! Awesome staff - from front desk to housekeeping- great effort!
