Hampton Inn & Suites Austin @ The University/Capitol

Great hotel. Very large room. Attentive staff. Cleanliness. Good breakfast. Great coffee and hot chocolate station with treats. I definitely recommend this Hampton Inn.

The $40 dollars per night for parking.

The quietness of the room, excellent internet service, the breakfast bar had excellent food and was always very clean & the staff was very accommodating & friendly.

I guess I missed the area where it quoted a price of $40 per day for self park, a big surprise when I got a summary of my bill.

service was nice, rooftop pool was cool, room was clean and we could walk to our conference. Nice!

The bed, wasn¿t really impressed otherwise.

No hot water, room was hot, and patio door wasn¿t open and broken, I fixed it for you. The ridiculous parking fee that was not disclosed prior to visiting.

Kinda far from Austin attractions, food, and fun! Excellent for Austin business!

Since I was a Hilton Honors member we were about to get in early, close to University of Texas at Austin and easy to get to/from airport.

No easy way to get downtown other than walk in 110 degree weather.

The location. I enjoy the breakfast provided. The price was great.

Much nicer than other Hampton's. Excellent breakfast selection with lots of open eating areas. Great location.

$25 a night for the parking garage was too much. Don't mind paying for parking, but $25 is steep.

The staff here is always welcoming- from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast service, everyone is helpful and friendly. Also impressed that everything in fitness center works. Finally, location is great for visiting UT.

Room was freezing when we checked in - 65 degrees is too low! (But we fixed it and we¿re very comfortable.)

Comfortable and quiet

Connecting to the internet proved challenging in the room, in the lobby, and even with the special code that people usually pay for. But, this seemed problematic across much of Austin so may have been an issue that only I was having.

The view of the UT stadium and the Capitol, also beautifully modernized decor anf very tall ceilings

They had a good breakfast assortment.

There was no microwave. The fridge didn¿t cool, fan in bathroom didn¿t work, curtains were broken didn¿t close all the way, the floor was extremely dirty, the bed had a dip so deep my son kept falling into me so uncomfortable, hardly slept. $250/$25 park

The music decorations are nice and bring a good vibe to the hotel.

I dislike the smell of Fabuloso and each morning when housekeeping was cleaning was cleaning the halls reek of Fabuloso. This is not an approved disinfectant or sanitizer for Covid not sure why this is their choice in cleaner? Small rooms.

The location close to University of Texas was awesome. It was also easy to get on I35 to drive south and enjoy the outdoors.

The parking in the area was confusing, and because the hotel wants patrons to pay to park, no one was able to offer clear information about where we could park nearby.

The ventilation system was off. We set it at 70 and the first night it got down to 60 and it felt like a meat locker. The second night it got up to 86 with the same setting and we were sweltering. In both cases we didn¿t get much sleep.

Clean room and nice staff. Location less than 1/2 mile to capital.

Parking tight with a truck that cost extra $24 a day.
