    • Location
    • Well - a few minutes after arriving, I got stuck in an elevator for a few minutes.... (the elevator near room #200)Once I got out of the elevator, I couldn't find a staircase from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor - I didn't want to get back in an elevator; Monday evening in an attempt to get room service, no one answered -I had to go down to the restaurant and order it myself; I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to get to Court by 8:00 - the coffee pot didn't work - couldn't drink coffee until 7:00 am; Not coming back... I'll go back to Hotel San Jose.... Kimberly Gardner

    Cons -

    • This hotel has NO COFFEE in rooms and no coffee available in restaurant until 7 am. Overpriced for what you get... four concrete walls ... and no blackout curtains to keep city lights out at night.
    • elevators that work; people answering the phone; working coffee pots...
    • The lighting in the room was horrible !! The staff seemed like you bother them when ask for anything

Amazing customer service great location, good energy, simple 70s inspired and modern design

The parking. Street parking you have to pay parking lot. You have to pay parking garage to pay and the valet you have to pay and it’s all expensive.

The grounds of the property are gorgeous! The Le Labo is a really nice surprise. The rooms are decorated beautifully and we love the old school phone. And you can’t beat the location. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

The AC seemed to turn off at night and the room got a little warm. Also, the water took a really long time to heat up.

Great, central location, beautifully designed, comfortable, all-around excellent

A little bit noisy hearing the trucks and early morning deliveries

    Location and layout

The pool transats are all sloping downstairs which is very uncomfortable. Seems like an easy fix / rookie oversight. There is no Gym and no access to a local gym. You have to pay 100usd for a day pass… for a hotel this expensive, it’s borderline criminal not to have a gym.

Beautiful property with lots of lovely outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Right off Congress Street so all the shops are in easy access. Rooms are decorated in interesting ways. I loved the Le Labo bathroom products!

    The bathroom is small.

This property is absolutely beautiful! I loved the lobby, courtyard, and the unique rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the le labo toiletries were a lovely addition, and the location is amazing. The restaurant on site was also lovely, breakfast was delicious.

There was a loud fan noise periodically when running the AC, I'm not sure if it was unique to our room but it was disruptive at times.

The location and how dog friendly it was

Our duvet insert did not have a cover on it and it didn’t cover the entire bed

    8NigelPosted on: 11-5-2025

Fantastic location, just off South Congress.Good quality food and drinks from the bar/restaurant

Considering the quality of the hotel, the towels should be much better for this price. We didn't have our room serviced for five of the six days we stayed thereThere was very little storage space and we had to live out of our suitcases

Great pool, friendly staff, great cocktail bar and good location for shopping

    Good

There was a wedding party/event going on one night we were not told or warned of. We were put on 1st floor overlooking where the patrons were, it was quite loud. They did shut down the band early which was good but some communication or consideration to where we were roomed would have been nice.

    10RosannaPosted on: 9-8-2025

Beautiful property, nicely decorated, walking distance to loads of restaurants/bars/shops. Would definitely stay here again.

    10HelenePosted on: 8-11-2025

just about everything! the nice scent as you walk in the lobby, the shaded pool, the beautiful room. the outdoor bar adjacent to the pool. the super nice staff.

minor but could be a problem to some, I could hear the trash trucks in the am and afternoon. was not a huge deal as it was too hot to be on the balcony and my door was closed.

    9EbruPosted on: 6-8-2025

Location and style of the hotel. Nice interior design.

Bathroom situation in room. It would be nice to have a proper door (not glass) which properly closes.

BREAKFAST WAS EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WE HAD. NOT A LOT OF CHOICE. THE BEST THING ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS ITS STAFF. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT.

WE DIDN’T LIKE THE SINK IN THE BEDROOM. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BATHROOM. THEY CHARGED $12 FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE.

    6MarionPosted on: 10-30-2024

-nice property design-convenient location-valet service-front desk handled bathroom complaint

-bathroom wasn’t clean upon arrival, especially inside of the toilet-limited drink options that are non-alcoholic. No water available that's not sparkling water you have to purchase. Have stayed at a Bunkhouse hotel before and they had still water available for free in the room.-AC took a long time to heat up. Requested a blanket and was brought one that wasn't warm and was made from a rough cloth material.
