Nashville Marriott At Vanderbilt University

The parking was half the cost of the room. The floor we were on was covered in luggage carts. Our room smelled like someone spilt a bottle of perfume. Furthermore it was noisy and hard to sleep. Not sure how it was rated as a 4 star.

It¿s cleanliness; the shuttle to Broadway.

$25 for a margarita was a bit pricey.

Shuttle not operational (due to 4th of July holiday) though we were told twice by staff that it was. Also only valet parking available.

Staff is great and rooms are clean

There was no prices on items for purchase. Was not told there was a mandatory 45 per day charge for Valet and that you had to use it.

I loved the lounge with the meals and snacks as well as different drink options. It was convenient and comfortable!

We didn¿t like that there was no pool and hot tub, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Very Nice hotel. Was visiting for Basketball game at Vandy. Could walk to game. If you are coming for a game on campus, excellent choice.

No parking. Expensive valet service.

Nice location

No parking on site, had to pay valet to park vehicle in some unknown place. The front desk was rude when we called about getting valet to retrieve our vehicle, then we waited in lobby for 20 minutes for our vehicle. The couch had some nasty stains

only had valet parking, they should offer other parking because it can become very expensive.

Clean, nice hotel. Liked having the shuttle.

Having a continental free breakfast would be nice. Parking should be included.

Excellent location for visiting Vanderbilt. Near great food options and across from the Parthenon. Lovely staff and comfortable room.

The bar and restaurant was open and good

Parking was very expensive for a hotel that was not in Downtown

The Marriot Vanderbilt is a very clean and well-run establishment. The staff is very professional, pleasant, and accommodating. And the location is great if you have business on the Vanderbilt campus. And they will shuttle you the mile to the night life.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Free shuttle was very convenient. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Room needed a little upkeep. But nothing to concerning. Would stay at again

The A/C did not cool the room, so it was hot in there.

Forgot medication in the side nightstand and could not get anyone to help me locate the medicine even after several calls.

The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept! Every staff member was kind and helpful.

They did not have a pool and they charged $10 per day for wifi. For a hotel that costs quite a bit and with a 4-star reputation-- it is very odd to not include wifi-- even motels do that.

The room was very nice and clean.

We did not like there was nothing mentioned about the cost of parking. There was no place to park but the parking garage $40 for valet.

The hotel is in a great location right next to Vanderbilt University. We were able to ride scooters or take a cheap uber to down town every day (1.8 miles away). There were good places to eat and nice parks to walk to. Friendly check in staff.

Vending on 4 different floors I checked were all out of water. The water in the bathtub did not drain and stayed in the middle. Fridge in the room smelled of rotten milk. Night front desk staff not very friendly. No pool. Not able to get room with 2
