Staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel looks as if it is being modernized just like the rest of Memphis and kudos to them. The rooms were very clean, I would recommend that you bring socks or slippers to wear on the floor because the carpet is dirty from general traffic.

The queen bed view suite smelled of grease from the kitchen. Anytime they were cooking the smell of the fryers or anything that was being prepared wafted through the room. The thermostat light was extremely old for the model and would not turn off. When I went down to the front desk to ask somebody to come up and assist us with this they brought up a whole new thermostat face and changed it out. I'm glad the staff was attentive but this tells me that the hotel staff knows that this is a problem in the rooms and they do not bother to change these until the guest complains. There is no parking or parking vouchers for the hotel. You have to use street parking or their parking garages. The problem with this every time you move your car, it's going to cost you $17.The dining room is only open during specific hours so if you want after hours food you're going to have to doordash.This room would have been wonderful at $100 or $150 a night but my stay was nearly $500 and it was definitely not worth that for two nights.

No hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom. Coffee in lobby needed to be refilled more often.

Good sized room, comfortable bed. Large bathroom with good shower. Easy walk to Beale Street and main street.

Position was fabulous, and we liked the size and layout of the rooms. Unfortunately, housekeeping never cleaned our room (despite us being out of the room all morning, and seeing them at about 2pm and saying we’d be going again in ten mins so they could clean the room, when we got back in the early evening, they’d gone home!) so we had to ask for fresh towels. Also worth noting that, despite it being advertised (and also answered in the questions) there is NO VALET PARKING. There is a garage next to the hotel that guests can use - but only if you have a US phone (our uk ones didn’t work!). Also, despite there being laundry bags in the rooms, there is no laundry service! Just a bit more clarity would be good as the hotel is nice and the staff very helpful.

Great location for starters. The property is very nicely appointed and designed. The lobby restaurant was also very good. Wish they had a lobby coffee service, otherwise, we enjoyed the visit and will return.
