Breakfast is a little poor

Had to pay for parking. No microwave in room. Bed way too soft. Same breakfast every day. Rarely anyone at the front desk.

The bathroom wasn't clean. Missing an iron and board. And missing an ice bucket.

Great location, easy to get to, and felt very safe with the surrounding environment. We booked the hotel specifically because a pool is listed on the website. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and helped us sort out our concerns with their renovation and pool.

I was traveling with my 7 and 8-year-old kids. When we arrived, the pool and hotel are under renovation, which will be great when it's done. I would not have booked the hotel had we known the pool and the hotel were under renovation. The staff did call the Embassay suites next door and they granted us access to use their pool, the gesture was greatly appreciated. The pool and hot tub at the Embassy suites was poorly maitained at the time. We did stay for a bit and again appreciated the opportunity for them to burn off some energy after a very long car ride.

The staff was friendly, the beds were super comfortable and the Complementary breakfast was terrific, lots of choices; waffles, pastries, breads, eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruits, three different types of yogurt, coffee bar and juices.

Two things made the stay miserable; the air conditioner didn’t work well, it never got below 72 degrees the whole night! By the time we realized it wasn’t going to get any cooler we were too hot and exhausted to report it and move to another room. The other problem was alarming- when I went out into the hall and closed the door, I turned the handle to check it (a habit I do) and the door opened back up! I did this repeatedly for at least five times by slamming it shut and pulling but every time it opened right up without the card in the slot. Finally, it caught only to then not take our card and let us back in after breakfast. We had to go to the desk and report it. Before someone could get up there (10 min later) we finally got the door to open! At breakfast we were talking to some other guest who said that their door was doing the same thing and that their rooms stayed hot.

The location was good and felt safe.

The main elevator was out of order and that was inconvenient. Traveling with lots of stuff and a long ride then being told the elevator is not working was annoying. Also the ice machine on my floor was out of order. The sinks drained slowly and the toilet clogged up as well.
