- Very friendly staff. The room was perfect and the location was perfect for what I needed to do in Chattanooga.
- I loved the room, shower, bath tub and staff.
- rooms, bar and restaurant are attractive.
Cons -
- The only thing that we did not like was that the television was not hi def.
- the rooms are unacceptably noisy. Not only do you hear outside noise- people outside, you can hear: 1. people walking in the room above you. 2. phones ringing in lobby/other guest rooms 3. bathrooms being used in nearby rooms

Location, historical, boutique, quaint. I liked the price which includes full breakfast.
Thin walls,
Price is high for Chattanooga.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Centrally located in downtown Chattanooga.
The breakfast didn’t have very many options and there were no plant based milk options.
Loved the decor and also the spaciousness of my room. The bathroom was well outfitted and overall very comfortable.
They really need to put carpet down on the hallways because the noise level from outside the room is very high unnecessarily. Those old wood floors are nice, but they magnify the sound of anyone walking or pulling suitcases. Obviously they know it’s a problem because they supply you with earplugs which I’ve never seen before at any other hotel. Also, the breakfast was underwhelming. More like a motel breakfast.
Very eclectic and fun vibe… staff was super friendly. Enjoy hanging at the hotel bar- Matilda’s
A little noisy- doors have big gaps above floor, etc.
It was super adorable, clean, comfortable, the staff was excellent and helpful, and everything was perfect. The decorations in every room being unique makes me want to stay and keep track of each time I stay and mark them off a list, trying to stay in them all! The mid century modern designs are to notch, who ever did the decorations were on point.
That I had to leave at the end of my vacation. But I'll be back!
Service was fantastic, valet was nice, hotel room was very clean and bed was very comfy.
Location - walked to dinner, and lots of homeless people. Also the sound outside was very loud, and since it's an old hotel we could hear it falling asleep.
Breakfast was good
Our room on the third floor , maybe 317, it was in a corner. Area at door was lower. I said this is an accident waiting to happen. During the night my husband fell down that step. It should be painted a different color or taped to reveal a drpression. We are seniors. I fear someone else might get hurt.

The hotel is well located in the city. It attracted me because of the quirky and unique design. I’m often in chain hotels which are intentionally very predictable. This is in a completely different league. It’s half museum-half hotel in so far as all the decor is unique. Every room has a different theme. All the public areas have a different theme. It’s quite whimsical and busy. Every nook has a different curio so you can’t assume anything in the visual palate. It was a bit of a treat to experience and the price was mid range for the area.
It was all as expected.
I thought the design of the hotel was very cool and we loved our cocktails at Matilda’s bar.I also enjoyed the fact that you could use the pool and gym at the common house.
I didn’t love that Check-in was a bit late at 4 PM.I also thought the breakfast was pretty lame considering how expensive the hotel room was. It would’ve been nice to have hard-boiled eggs and some sort of toast with nice butter and jam. There is definitely room for improvement for breakfast and a bottle of water in the room (Complementary) would’ve also been a nice touch.

Unique! There were so many hidden gems within the property. The Bar, The Lounge, The covered Patio that made you feel like you were sitting in a quaint cafe in Paris and the complimentary board games! The staff at The Dwell are EXCELLENT…Harrison and Mark are the absolute best!
Breakfast could be a a bit more enhanced but with so many restaurants 5 minutes from the hotel who cares! Lol
This was a anniversary night away. When I booked with Dwell I asked if a bottle of champagne can be in rm before we arrived. Unfortunately room service is not available. When we arrived there was a bottle on ice waiting for us with a card saying happy anniversary! That was so sweet and really made a great 1st impression. I love the art deco decor. The rm was impeccable. Customer service was excellent! We will definitely stay again.
No complaints
The property and amenities were way overpriced for what was available!!!
The mattress needs to be replaced lumpy and too soft not supportive enough. The continental breakfast consisted of (1) type of scone, (1) type of yogurt, granola for cereal, (1) type of juice.
Lovely boutique style property, great staff Harrison was wonderful ?
Not applicable as we had a great stay
I love the style, ambiance, and staff at the Dwell. I stayed in the Asian styled room, and it was fun. The bathtub is AMAZING! It is a must.It is a boutique hotel and more expensive than the regular hotel however it is beautiful. Every detail is thought of, including the bar and the breakfast in the morning. Put this hotel on your list for special occasions or a self-care weekend. Also the hotel manager is now one of my ? people. He loves the hospitality industry and guests.
This hotel is fantastic.
