Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Athens

It was a new hotel, so everything was fresh and new.

Breakfast could have been better: powdered scrambled eggs and sausage biscuits on gummy biscuits.

Bathroom still had dirty towels from another stay hanging behind door. Used soap still in shower

This hotel was very clean and staff was very polite and helpful. Our door to our room wasn't flush, showing a little light, but it was still quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good with lots of options.

The staff member that checked us in. We figured out very quickly that he was new, but he barely said anything to me and mumbled when he did. The lady next to him was trying to check someone else in and then ended up helping us too.

I was charged for a room I did not have and now wait for the credit for the charge

I loved the pool and the gym , the rooms and the hotel were very modern and nice overall.

No hot food for breakfast was disappointing, my first room had a dirty toilet and debris on the floor in the corners near the shower, my second room was clean , The Tv's had no working On screen guide, had to guess wwhats on channels. Says "to be announce

Price and location

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the last two months. Both times there were false fire alarms. Once in the early evening and the other at three in the morning.

Staff was very helpful.

The Comfort In. Across the street offers flavored coffee creamers and cucumber water which is a nice touch. Of course when the buffet opens it will be great.

The hotel was clean and in good location.

They put a $3680.00 hold on our checking account and was never told why that happened. It was a hassle getting it taken off. Was told we would be compensated for all the trouble but haven't been.

The shampoo dispenser was empty so I couldn¿t wash my hair¿.other than that¿no complaints.

The location was excellent. It was close to shopping and our family we were visiting.

I think this hotel stay was really great! Check-in was simple and fast. The decor is fantastic. My room was laid out very efficiently. Comfortable bed and exceptional shower.

The ONLY thing that I didn’t care for was the lightbulbs in the bedside lamps. Yep, seriously. They felt too “cold” instead of “cozy”.

The breakfast was good.

Low water pressure in the shower and the beds are very uncomfortable.

The place is immaculate, excellent customer service. Breakfast is very good.

Everything was very clean and nice. No complaints.

The bed was a little low to the ground, but it really didn't affect our sleep. My husband just commented that he felt like he was on a cot.
