- Price, location and staff.
- The staff, everyone I encounter was very nice.
- Met by a young man, Justin, he processed me in and gave me a warm welcome. He asked me to call front desk if I needed anything or anything was amiss. Room was well appointed, clean and quiet. Had my first restful night since I started my trip. Breakfast was excellent and items on menu were changed each morning. This should be rated as a four-star hotel.We'll be staying at this hotel when I come to Rapid City two or three times a year. Also easy to find, lots of parking and near numerous restaurants.
Cons -
- The smell.
- The bed. It felt like I was sleeping on a rock. The room was not that clean. The tv was not good quality either.
- I found nothing negative about the hotel, location or amenities.

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel exceeded the reviews! Very clean, and well maintained. Every staff member from the front desk to housekeeping were professional and upbeat.
The king bed was a bit hard. Maybe a mattress topper would help?
