Holiday Inn Express Spartanburg By IHG

Hotel charged my card multiple times after the reservation was already paid, including a deposit stutter time of check on. I was charged 2 additional times thereafter. I do not recommend this hotel.

The coffee and the extra pillows. The breakfast was good but on Valentine’s Day, Sat they pack up breakfast before we even got down there at 10 am on a Sat. Would be nice to have it longer on weekends.

The check in staff could be more professional and upbeat. The $150 hold from the hotel, I still have not gotten back which I don’t like.

Chlorine very noticeable in water. Not hotel issue, rather city. Suggested they reach out to city water department.

The location and the cleanliness. The gentleman that checked us in was very professional, with an outstanding personality. It was a pleasure staying and we will definitely be back!

The bed was extremely uncomfortable

Our toilet was not flushing. We called the front desk and a plunger was delivered to the room. We tried to fix it but the next day it was still stopped up. We told the manager. Toilet overflowed for us. Elevator not working. No breakfast one morning. Etc

The only good thing was the location. Hotel was old and rooms weren¿t very good

Rooms were very old, issues with the elevator, toilet issues, not enough towels or toilet tissue

I liked the location of the hotel. It was a quick drive to the auditorium for my daughters competition.

I did not like the breakfast. Some of our towels and washcloths in the bathroom spelled sour. The light in the room and bathroom was very dim.

It was spacious, clean, well located and reasonably priced. My stay was brief but enjoyable.

Unruly patrons on the 4th floor, permitting their children to run up and down the halls for a good 45 min to an hour, Sunday morning, 10/9

The location was great for our purpose. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. And for a little bit of an older property it was clean. The breakfast employee, Troy was outstanding!

The door sensor in the back would not work. Once in a while it would if you stood there trying long enough. We had to go get new keys probably 4 different times. That was a pain. Not sure what the issue was but needs to be fixed.

I requested early check in-sit in the car for 2.5 hours with the clerk having me come in every 30 mins to check¿no overcrowding. The whole checkin experience ruined the stay, I had drove all night, exhausted, asked to pay extra for ANY clean room¿

Ethan and the breakfast staff were extremely nice and helpful

The AC had an intermittent tick that started late at night and kept me up the entire time. My husband was injured the day before and I didn't want to bother moving him so I had to deal with it.

I was over charged $57.38, I called to see what happened but the manager hasn¿t had time to call me back.

The room was damp and smelled like mildew. Our sheets were even damp. There were brown spots on the pillows and hair on the bathroom floor. I slept in my clothing because it felt dirty.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Food, gas, shopping were nearby and it was easy to maneuver through traffic.

Great location just off 26. Near shopping and dining. Staff was great.
