Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Mauldin

It was a great location and very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

When we arrived, we were the only ones in the lobby and the two employees were talking. We approached the counter and were not greeted. We stood there for 3 minutes without any acknowledgment and they were looking right at us. The other issue was the lighting. When we turned off the main light switches, all the lights when off. The lamps that were turned on would not power back on once the switch was flipped. It was annoying because we couldn’t use the bedside lamps at all without having all the lights on. When I checked out, I informed the lady about the issues with the lights. She could have cared less and was quite dismissive.

Room Cleanliness, friendliness of staff and food

Didn’t have the breakfast. Most other hotels include the breakfast at no charge. Room was clean and well supplied. Location was easy to get to.

Include breakfast.

Everything was great. The bar drinks & wings were amazing. The staff were all nice. The location was perfect.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Fire alarms went off when shower was on?

Location is excellent and the area is very quiet. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness. The amenities; gym, pool, outdoor area with fireplace, indoor seating area with restaurant/bar and tv. The staff; specifically Lauren and the manager who worked evening/nights.

This is just me being picky, but the shower only had a glass that covered half the shower, so water easily splashed the floor. Nothing the floor towel couldn't clean up, though.

The room was very clean and included toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bodywash). Housekeeping was by request so we had our privacy and could request what we needed when we needed.I liked that the TV was set up with my name on dispaly during my visit and their were plenty of power outlets. The hotel is also close by grocery stores, a gas station, restaurants,and a park.

sticky material was previously spilled adjacent to and between the two queen beds. Quite unacceptable finding during the night.
