Overall the hotel was very nice and the breakfast above average for variety and taste. The rooms had a good layout and the kitchen was equipped and usable.

What I was most concerned however was the housekeeping. It clearly states on the bathroom mirror that we would have service every other day. We however had to ask for linens... coffee station supplies and dish soap on our 3rd night since our room had not been serviced yet. I think the idea of bottles in showers is great until they are not kept up with.. our shampoo was empty, conditioner went empty and body wash was missing completely.

On our last night, my wife got up to use the bathroom and she saw, in the doorway to the bathroom, a humongous cockroach. When I told the front desk about it the morning we checked out, the young lady informed me when the weather is hot and humid, as it had been, the bugs find their way into the building, all the way up to the fifth floor where we were staying. ? so I guess the next time we book a room at Homewood Suites, it won't be during the summer. ?

This hotel was perfect for our family trip! The facilities were very clean and updated and everything really lived up to the pictures. Every staff member that we interacted with, even just in passing, was super nice and extremely helpful. There was an awesome breakfast available and the morning staff totally gave an energizing vibe to get the day going! Location worked well for our trip. Everything is about 10 minutes from this hotel and there is access to the Saluda river just 3 minutes away(seriously check this out)!Definitely would stay again if ever in SC!

The location is great. We really liked having a separate room as we were traveling with a toddler and baby. It was also nice to have a full size fridge in the room.

The floors were dirty. The pool was broken and too cold. The hot tub was warm but it didn’t work either.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable.

The toilet holder and towel rack were broken.

well i was actually the guest of the week! nice little mug and snack! very convenient location for what we were visiting for

well i booked a jacuzzi suite and did not get that so i said ok i can deal i’ll just go to the pool and get in the hot tub, well the hot tub was ice cold and the pool was even colder and front desk said heating element was out and would be fixed this weekend! this weekend does me no good so being the guest of the week didn’t feel very special at all i really had my hopes up for a nice spa bath just like at home i even paid the $200 thinking i was paying for a jacuzzi suite and was very disappointed

I asked for a room with a whirlpool in it. The room I did get a whirlpool however it wasn't working.

The room was very big and had a kitchen and little seating area. It matched the stay perfectly and out of all hotels that I have ever stayed at is by far the best. Cleanliness and comfort was completely taken care of.
