This Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Columbia Downtown Columbia Downtown hotel is 5 minutes’ drive from Riverbanks Zoo and the Carolina Coliseum event center. It features spacious rooms with a flat-screen cable TV and serves a daily buffet breakfast. A microwave, mini-fridge and coffee-making facilities are standard in each modern room at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Columbia-Downtown. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and are warmly decorated with bold colors and dark wood furniture. Free access to the gym and outdoor pool is provided to all guests of the Columbia Holiday Inn Express. A 24/7 snack shop and a business center are also available. We are not the holiday inn express. We do not have a pool. We do not offer housekeeping service daily, and we do not offer free parking The Columbia Art Museum is 1 mile from the hotel. The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center is a 5 minutes’ drive away.

- Convenient location. Free parking. Large parking lot
- Hotel staff were very polite and helpful
- Location. Furniture was clean.
Cons -
- Hallway carpeting was dingy.
- Room was on the street and extremely loud, barely got any sleep. Key machine for the rooms did not work so the maintenance guy had to let everyone in their rooms
- Water pressure in bathroom sink was low. Toilet was not properly cleaned before arrival of new guest.
