Great hospitality and amazing ambiance

Nothing. It was perfect!

Absolute dream in every way possible! Gorgeous buildings, beautiful and spacious room, incredible staff, lovely attention to every detail. I’ve stayed at several high-end hotels in Charleston and Zero George is hands down the best! It is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever experienced, including my extensive international travels and stays at 5-Star properties.

We felt like the main characters in a slice of life romantic comedy. All of the hotel staff was excellent.Location is excellent, everything meaningful is a less than 10 minute walk; or a 4-5 minute drive.Breakfast was excellent, well put together a tactful selection of pastries, coffees, and everything else you'd expect.

This one is sort of expected with an older building however, the AC alone wouldn't regulate the temperature inside our room. It took a while for it to set to our room at our preferred temperature (70° F). We had to keep the ceiling fan on if we wanted to stay cool; which is fine although I wish I could have simply relied on the AC.I wish there were convenient parking spaces nearby; Although, the hotel staff's valet service was ALL-STAR, excellent.

Lovely place..great atmosphere, room was above average, excellent bed. Coffee in the bathroom area was perfect for me since I love espresso. I had drinks at the bar later in the evening. It was a joy talking with Miles. The charcuterie and complimentary wine was very nice as well.

Well, I had two disappointments. First, when I made my reservation, (having eaten here before) of course, requested dinner with you. After responding to a time of choosing (I could have eaten at any time) I was told I would be contacted "quickly," I am pretty sure that was the exact wording. No one called me which was expected due to your request for the best number to reach me...and when I arrived you were completely full. I asked to be contacted if there was a cancellation or an open seat at the bar. After waiting until 7:30 I decided to leave. Went to Circa 1886, great place and great food by the way. Secondly, the breakfast was a disappointment. The quiche seemed to be a day old and reheated. It was pretty hard and served in a metal cup. (just not classy for you guys, more cafeteria food style.. the biscuit was enough to feed a sparrow! LOL. Considering your room charge is equated with breakfast, maybe this is something to look at.
