The front desk and housekeeping staff.

A little pain peeling paint by the bathtub, the carpeting on the stairs looks worn, and the metal stair railing needs re-painting, but everything else looked very nice.

Loud in hallways. Plumbing as well.

False advertising on the amenities at the location. Description included a restaurant and pool. Neither available at location but at their sister location they had these extras but it was not in walking distance. The tub took over 30 mins to drain.

One reception staff member was overly talkative, and made too many jokes and somewhat personal remarks.comments. borderline intrusive. We felt need to avoid front desk area after this - this would never happen in a chain hotel.

The furniture in the room looks old and it would bi nice if it was a little bit fixed. The bed is very confortable. The place us very clean.

The only major issue was that there was a lot of noise bleeding through the door of our room. We could hear other guests speaking very low/almost whispering - it made us feel like we would also be heard by people in the hallway.

Cozy homelike atmosphere. Felt like the hotel had character and the staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful visit.

the bathroom did not seem like a 2.5 star hotel at all. but it was clean and plenty of towels. milk at the coffee bar would be much appreciated. also wish there was a desk in my room.

The room was clean and a good size. Very basic though. The beds were comfortable and plenty of parking. Coffee was good and lots of tea selections. Very short drive to naval base and Walmart.

Nothing was within walking distance to do, need a car or Lyft, everything is a short drive away however. The breakfast was frozen breakfast sandwiches and warm juice. Did not enjoy hearing conservative politics from front desk guy.

We loved staying at this charming little hotel. The checkin process was so easy. Everyone at reception was so sweet and helpful. The room was a little small, but cute and perfect for our needs. The coffee was delicious. Breakfast was simple, but available

The staff was exceptionally nice. Downtown Newport was just minutes away.

It is a lovely older hotel but the walls on the first floor are not well insulated. The sound of doors being closed and people chattering in the hallway could be heard from inside the room. The bathroom needed some updating.

Small queen beds to share. Low toilet could use a rail, more washcloth 1 per guests.

Staff was amazingly helpful with our reservations and also with recommendations of what to see and where to eat.

Our room smelled of mildew and we did not sleep well due to sinus congestion. The very nice touch of providing a magnifying mirror for makeup in the bathroom was overshadowed by the hinge on the mirror hinge being broken. Rooms were visibly very clean.

Great location, super clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Beautiful building

There was a shack with metallic roof next to my forest floor room. It was raining all the night and the sound of water hitting the metal kept me awake. Not so good experience.
