Comfort Inn & Suites Pottstown Eastern Gateway

The floor in our room was sticky and the room was super dusty. We had no towels and when I called the front desk. I had to go down and get them myself.

The breakfast in the morning was good.

I messaged the staff weeks in advance asking if they would do something special since it was a valentines day weekend. They said they would do there best. There was nothing done.We brought our dog because the website said that this is a pet friendly hotel and we left to go on a 2 hour. Train ride and as soon as we got there. The hotel desk clerk calls us frantic, saying that someone's calling and complaining about my dog barking and he got really rude with me and ended up hanging up on me. Dogs bark. She's literally a 5 pound pomeranian, and was totally fine.She just missed us. The proper protocol would have been to move the people who are complaining instead of calling me on my valentine's day date on a train , stressing me out and asking me when we're gonna be back. The whole timeI was worried and couldn't think about anything else because of him calling me frantic. I think that's unacceptable Customer service if a dog barking is something that is going to cause you to call me , then you shouldn't have pet friendly listed on your website. Overall , we very much disliked our stay. It just added stress to a weekend that was supposed to be romantic. We drove 5.5 hrs from Cleveland ohio. Very disappointed.

The location was perfect for my needs. I like the amenities that they offer.

There’s a little highway noise.

The rooms were nice. Big tv. Comfy bed. The staff that I spoke to were also very nice.

So I mean for a quick stay it's fine. But the walls are thin. I could hear people talking/partying. There was a dog that was barking non-stop for hours. Smelled like weed and cleaner in the hallways. Walking the hall to our room there were bags filled with beer cans. Which I get people party. Just off putting.
