TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Harmarville

I reserved the one bedroom queen. The room was so spacious and comfortable. I honestly felt at home. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The receptionist at the front desk was especially kind and helpful with my children and their many questions. My mother and I were able to bring our service dogs and weren't given any problems. Breakfast was really good too. I highly recommend staying here and definitely plan on coming back if I ever need a hotel again.

The shower being an open door type was a bit foreign to me but that's really the only thing that bothered me. I'm used to being able to close the shower off completely. Also, the pool is described as heated but the water was cold when I got in but the room being extremely warm helps make up for that.

This hotel was amazing!! It didn't have gorgeous views of the rivers; but it was so convenient to EVERYTHING and it has wonderful staff members!! We checked in and the woman at the front greeted us with a warm smile and was so welcoming!! We saw her a few other times during our visit and she remembered us and why we were there. We also loved the location. We traveled for a Pens and Steelers game, and while most people stay downtown or on the airport side of the city, this hotel is actually the most ideal spot! We were to the stadiums in less than 20 minutes and we were back to the hotel after the games let out in 30-45 minutes. It's close to Starbucks, Sheetz, and various other restaurants. It's right by the turnpike so you are able to hop on and off as needed! It's also close to Oakmont Bakery (the best breakfast in Western PA!) I will definitely stay here again!!

I can't think of anything that I would have changed.

Location for my needs. Comfortable room and bed. Enjoyed the full size refrigerator.

The fan coil in room 518 leaks. I stepped in water as I opened the curtain.
