The Notary is in an excellent location in Philadelphia. Walkable to many tourist spots, like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, etc. Our room was beautiful. It was large, with an extended sitting room that was very comfortable, almost like a living room in your room. We loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when in Philadelphia.

We loved every moment of our stay. Modern but still holds all the old world charm of the original building. Great location, very close to the terminal market and all necessities within walking distance. Will definitely be back.
Allow a little extra time to catch a taxi, they don’t come past as often as other hotels. However the valet team will happily flag one down

Location is excellent. Although the narrow driveway with lots of cars waiting to be valet made unloading our luggage (which we had a lot) challenging. Elizabeth who was working at the valet was super helpful.

The history of the building is honored in so many ways by the decor! Great attention to detail. The location is excellent. Convenient to the metro, and interesting sights.

More light/illumination in the room would have been nice but this is very minor.

Great location, room was very clean and comfortable and had a great view of city hall
Valet is 70 dollars a day that’s including tax and it is a DISASTER! It took an hour and 13 minutes to get the car. Mind you we stayed two days so $140 bucks, a little outrageous for such a bad experience.
