Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia-City Avenue

The young lady at the desk who checked us in was so pleasant & professional. This was our first visit so she explained where to go and everything we needed to know regarding our two night stay.

This hotel had an outage in the middle of the night with no electricity nor water it was a disaster.

The staff

Killed several roaches in the kitchen & bathroom. Reported at checkout so hope they address it.

I found the TV difficult to understand, could not get it to work after turning it off for the nigh signaling that it was being controlled elsewhere. In that case I should have been told of the hours of operation.

The staff was courteous and the service was right on hand.

I asked for a asked for an accessible bathroom because the person that with me is in a wheelchair. I registered for a accessible bathroom but did not get one. The shower was walk in but had no set and you had to step over a to get in the shower.

We liked the room. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very nice.

The "hot" breakfast food was barely warm. The shower drain was very slow.

The toilet stomped up twice and the maids cleaned my room and used the same pillow cases and sheets and didn?t change them.

the room loved the view at the river and the accessible shower and the layout of the room.

location and parking. there is street level parking and the parking lot was not functional so parking was free. close to univ city.

Breakfast. same eggs same sausage and taco meat. if u live there more than few days one would get bored.

My room was dirty had spider webs everywhere. The breakfast was terrible. Parking was terrible. For the price it shouldn?t have looked like that.

The size of the room. It has a full kitchen with plates and cookware even dish soap and it has a mini sectional. You can definitely live in this room.

I believe that people do live in the rooms and the room did have a lived and smell, it was advertised that it provided a shuttle from airport and it DID Not !!! Costing me an additional 110 for an Uber to get there and back . Not Cool!

- saw rats - out of breakfast in the morning (at 8:30am) - kicked out swimming pool during open hours - Room not ready at the check in time. Our family had to wait in the lobby for one hour to wait for them to clean the room.

Asked 4 times for bedding for the pull out couch; did not receive until day 2 of stay after requesting 2 more times. Breakfast was very poor. 2nd night there were a group of very noisy guests across the hall; front desk wouldn?t answer. A/C broken. 85?

I love how you can cook in your own kitchen in your room if you have a kitchen & Its fully functional and stocked

That the pool was closed and the WiFi was not connecting but me and my wife still had a really relaxing time 

The pool was closed for maintenance and they feel it necessary to put that on the website. We couldn't take a shower as the shampoo and body wash containers were empty. Will not book them again.

The hotel room was very clean with a very comfortable bed! The front desk staff were all friendly and professional.

There were some extra features that we didn¿t notice when booking. Specifically there was a full kitchen in our room. It¿s an extended stay kind of vibe. The room had great daylight. We enjoyed the toiletries provided as well. All of the staff were A++++!

Our room had the sliding ¿barn style¿ bathroom door which is common these days. PLEASE STOP THIS DESIGN DECISION! You can hear EVERYTHING, it¿s embarrassing for a couple staying together.

the pool was small. hilton makes too much money to be sharing one pool between the two hotels. parking wasn't included. had to find street parking and had to walk a distance to the hotel. parking lot meter didnt work.

The Staff was friendly and it was walking distance restaurants and store. We love walk. We vary of choice at breakfast. We love you have internet.

We didn't like the waste water plant was cross street. You didn't have crosswalk way so your guest can cross the road so guest been afraid from getting hit. We had dodge serval car.
