really liked this hotel. modern but unpretentious. Huge, well-appointed room, well sound-proofed so no disturbance from other guests. Great part of town but quiet street. Very friendly staff who made you feel really welcome.
clean but not super clean. net curtains were grubby.

The location is great.
My reservation was lost, I had to wait 3-4h to get a room. The room smelled like mold and dust that just got worse over time. I got another room the next day which was a bit better. Staff were slow, and couldn't solve very basic issues - just kept saying "You're happy stay is so important for us" - but that won't help anybody :).

Staff other than front desk helpful and friendly. Location off hotel terrific. I'd recommend and return.
Front desk staff Friday afternoon rude to begin with then less than appropriate after she sent my friend to an occupied room. Wanted her to wait in check-in line again and hardly apologetic. She should have done triple back flips and was grumpy instead.

The room was clean. The hotel is in a great downtown location.
For some reason, the AC didn’t work well and it was always cold. the parking fee at night is very high. I found a nearby parking lot for $32, but the hotel charged $50.

Great location. Nice lobby. Room was quiet and spacious. Good cafe next door..beds were comfy.
Room was dated and the furniture was battered. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Couldn't shower without the bathroom flooding. Room not made up daily,

The location of this hotel is great. The staff in the lobby were very helpful.
The recent renovation didn't seem to include the room. Mine was extremely dark, noisy and not very comfortable.

Friendly staff and nice hotel restaurants. Located close to many sights and parks.
Bathroom floor was dirty, sink didn’t drain good, wall had dirty smears down it, shower water turned scalding with toilet flushing, spare blanket had a human hairball in it… too much for the price paid to stay there.

Great location and housekeeping was amazingly efficient, accommodating and friendly, especially Camela, netta and Tanya. Gym was pretty good too. Many front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Great lobby, coffee shop and 2 restaurants. Large and comfortable rooms.
Many front desk people had poor social skills eg no hellos or smiles. Lobby and hallways were freezing all the time.

location is excellent. room was large as was the bathroom.
TV was damaged. Light in fridge can be seen all night. The bathroom toilet was very loud. NO GLASSES in the room?! It is very unusual for a hotel not to have any glassware for guests.

The location was great. The room was spacious and the beds were fine.
The hotel was very old, the pillows were smelly. The reception desk staff was so rude and not helpful at all. They've requested from us to pay for daily resort fee for wifi, tea and coffee in the room. However, there were no tea in the room. We have requested from reception, waited for an hour nothing came out. Then, we called them and they said they could not send at that moment. There were no shower gels in the room. They maid us pay for valet parking in order to bring our car back when we were leaving. However, they said they wont be able to bring our car in front of the hotel that day and we need to pick it up. We have requested our valet parking fee back but they said they cannot do a refund even if they could not provide the service. Horrible.
