    Cons -

    • Whoever sold y'all the windows was not a nice person.
    • Overnight parking in close vicinity is non-existent.
    • For a longer stay i would prefer a little fridge in the room, maybe also coffeemaker and microwave. But for a short stay this was fine.

Room was well appointed, bed comfortable, and roomy. Breakfast was outstanding, wish I would have known about this place 6 years ago.

Overnight parking in close vicinity is non-existent.

Great location, great neighborhood. Nice old fashioned decor. Family like free breakfast, easy talking to other guests while eating breakfast together. Clean rooms, most toiletries and bathrobe provided. Internet.

For a longer stay i would prefer a little fridge in the room, maybe also coffeemaker and microwave. But for a short stay this was fine.

Overall our stay was more than excellent! the receptionist who works in the afternoon, made our welcome so warm. She was very helpful and funny too! If we are ever back in Philly, we will most definitely come back.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very good. They were very accommodating. Enjoyed getting to know the other people staying at the B&B.

This hotel is welcoming, comfortable and elegant. In addition it is conveniently located near center city Philadelphia making it feasible to walk to most concerts or restaurants (or shops).

Fingerprint smudges on white doors made us wonder about how often the common surfaces were cleaned.

Really a hidden gem in the city. Room looked like they just remodeled it, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Living room and kitchen were a surprise.

I had the room on the top floor, very narrow stairs dragging a suitcase up was a bit tiresome. Breakfast started at 7:45 which was too late for me because I had to be at work, so I missed it.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-5-2016

Very nice neighborhood, felt very safe with nice restaurants. 20 minute walk to central downtown. Lovely older home with lots of information on local area. The room was large and comfortable, the shared bath very clean. WiFi worked well. Very good value.

I was surprised that there was not a hot breakfast on week days but there were fresh scones and a large selection of cold foods so not really a problem.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-6-2016

This hotel felt like being home. The staff was welcoming, the room was nice and the continental breakfast was very good! The hotel was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go so we left the car in the parking garage the whole time.

    Location and price

Don't know how I missed it, I should have gone with a non-shared bathroom

    10Roderick HarrisonPosted on: 11-2-2015

Beautiful room, well designed and decorated. Excellent breakfast. Lovely sitting/living room, though I didn't have time to take advantage of it. Even very good hotels are usually just another hotel. This was different and memorable.

    Lack of oon-site parking

Rooms are cleaned, staff are hospitable, and there happened to be someone playing really great piano pieces!

Charming facility in a great location. Staff was very friendly.

Nice kitchen, but otherwise few amenities. TV did not work well.
