Pros +
- Location, easy access, cleanliness and available amenities.
- Love the location and cleanliness and excellent customer service
- The building is beautiful and its grand history is referenced throughout and in the room. The reception area is lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room had triple the space of an ordinary 2 queen hotel room for the same price, with the added bonus of a great location in a historic property.
Cons -
- High deposit of $200; the two nights where for $---. Deposit charged right away, but not returned right away.
- The only issue was the window in the room didn't shut completely letting cold air into the otherwise comfy room through a small crack. We only stayed one night and it was not an issue for us, and staff assured us it would be addressed before the next guest checked in.
- No change bedding and service requested to fix loose toilet seat

Sosuites overbooked and told us they didnt have a room for us when we arrived. left us with difficult option to reimburse us and we try to find another hotel at last minute, or stay at another facility further away. we took the later option only to find out the other option was $183/night cheaper and they offered us $50 refund for our inconvenience. Once we checked into the other facility we looked up the nightly rate and we reached out to customer service the next day and ssaid they owed us a $550 refund and the $50 they offered was insufficient. If we hadnt done that they would have ripped us off for $500. Talk about a bait and switch. We filed a complaint to better business bureau about them to document their practice of overbooking and not reimbursing customer for full amount.
Room was very clean. Staff was exceptional in helping with any problems.
there was a large step getting into my bedroom room. This was awkward and dangerous. There were no windows in my bedroom.

Valet parking takes 30 minutes to get your car not the 10-15 reception said and you have to send/call at least twice to get it
The room was clean and quiet. It is at Independence Hall area and convenient to everywhere I needed to go.
This apartment is 2 floors and it is very difficult to get the temperature comfortable. If you are downstairs in the living room/kitchen and are comfortable then the upstairs bedroom is too hot and vice versa.
We were given the wrong room upon our arrival. A staff member stepped in and made it right. An inconvenience but grateful for the staff
The location is good for exploring old city and central city.
The units are poorly insulated so sound travels from unit to unit ( or hall ) loud shouting, loud music, street noise were a major issue.
Great location, great facilities and very clear and well-kept rooms and apartments.
This is a luxury rental building with people living in it. The walls in the apartment are thin and there's a lot of noise that comes from other apartments and the hallways. I stayed here 4 times due to its proximity to my office in Philly, and every single time I had trouble sleeping because people were being extremely loud in the hallways and other rooms late at night. In fact, they know about this problem and provide ear plugs for all guests as curtesy. They don't help much, though. Last night I was pretty much kept awake for at least an hour because of a couple that was having an extremely loud argument in the middle of the night and I could hear basically everything. I couldn't tell if they were in the floor above, below or same floor as me...
The location was amazing! We were only there for two days and thankful to be near so many places we could walk to.
There was a significant issue with the heating. The draft from the window was so strong that no one could comfortably sit in the living area. I asked about a space heater or extra blankets and was told it would be checked, but I never received a follow-up.There were a few smaller issues we worked around—dirty dishes in the cabinet and a malfunctioning coffee machine—but the heating was the major concern. It was cold enough that we needed multiple layers to sleep, and although we were out most of the day, we couldn’t spend time in the living areas in the evening because it was too cold.
The location is amazing, and the building is beautiful with friendly staff and convenient, reasonable parking.
The decor was minimal, as were the amenities. There are also exposed drain pipes from upper apartments in the loft. The noises they produce are… remarkable
The location was great. The proximity of independence mall and Washington square park were ideal for taking our dogs out.
I found dirty plates mugs and silverware in the cabinets. I had to wash them before I could use them. The noise level can get high at times with just normal activities from the other tenants.
Location was great! Very walkable and the coffee shop next store came in handy.
Room was smaller than expected, but I was a solo traveler and it did the job.
Amazing location-literally across the street from Independence hall. So much within an easy walk. Nice to have a kitchen and access to gym. Valet parking very reasonable for downtown Philly.
Stair leading from bedrooms was a bit precarious. Could have used a few more hooks in the bathroom.
Great location. The check-in and out process was easy and efficient. The room was very clean.
Residents of other rooms on the floor were quite noisy. It would be nice if the room had a chair.
This location was perfect for me. The room was clean and comfortable. No issues with check-in or check-out.
The shower water pressure was ... not good. It would be nice to have a little shelf space in the bathroom. There wasn't any aside from the medicine cabinet. I found the room temperature controls to be confusing.
Location was amazing....literally across the street from Independence Hall
So the bedroom came with earplugs on the night stand. That should tell you something. The hotel is a renovated old office building and soundproofing clearly wasn't part of the upgrades. We could here people in the next room at 2:00 a.m. just talking to one another...nothing particularly loud. It kept my wife up. It's unfortunate because I really liked the place overall.
Bait-and-switch by SoSuite ruined our trip
Sosuite pulled a bait-and-switch on our friends and us and sent us to another cheap hotel in a “seedy” neighbourhood. The customer service interaction was appalling and no apology has been forthcoming. A thoroughly awful experience.
