Morris House Hotel - Bed And Breakfast

Cozy rooms in an amazing spot in the city. Great coffee!

Some front desk staff were great; others not so much.

It was quaint, clean, large room size, staff was very friendly, and love the history behind the hotel. It was also very quiet, in that you didn't hear neighboring guests. The library was also very nice. It was very relaxing & quiet hotel.

It would have been nice if there was valet parking since you must park in the parking garage across the street. The free breakfast was average. It would have been nice if there was a healthier variety (i.e. fresh fruit).

Charming room, although lots of steps. Nice to have the bar next door (with discount coupons). We brought our drinks back to the hotel sitting room with the fireplace...lovely!The location couldn't be better. We walked everywhere!

We arrived early and were told that our suitcases would be put in our room. When we came back after dinner, the suitcases were still by the check-in desk. We shlepped them up the stairs.

It was a perfect location. A few minutes walk to where my testing center was.

My room was over the restaurant in the hotel. Around 10:30 pm I could hear them emptying out trash cans and general cleaning that has to be done. For most people this won't be a problem, but for my situation it was.

Location and free glass of wine.

Parking. Have to pay for ins and outs. Very expensive.

Of course the location to Pennsylvania Hospital is perfect !! Breakfast is a nice feature too!!

So dissatisfied with the location of our room above the M restaurant..my husband and I were awakened at 10:15 pm with the sounds of smashing bottles being emptied into the trash..we had to be at the hospital 5:15 am..again every night between 9-1:0 pm!!

Charming place. Choose it for the location near Wills Eye Hospital. Safe area and lots of history nearby. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

For the price paid I think breakfast should be more then just continental.

Not accessible for handicapped (no elevator and stairs to most rooms). However, staff carried luggage to our 2nd floor room and moved us down one floor. Parking ($28) in public lot across street (hotel validates for $4)

Historic location, charm of old historic building.

Lack of elevator to third floor was only minor inconvenience. If accessibility were an issue our room wouldn't have worked.

This was a beautiful historic building, updated with A/C and modern bathroom, and they offered free continental breakfast and Wi-Fi. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to hospitals, restaurants, and shopping. Staff very helpful.

Loved this hotel. Very clean and perfect location. The room was huge! Even had kitchenette but we didn't use. Warm cookies provided and great happy hour. Staff was very helpful.

No free parking but got discount. It was located across street .
