Glenwood Inn - Stroudsburg

• Property was good , owner was the best thank you
• It's such a nice quiet place to stay.

Cons -

• The pictures online are deceiving. It's Valentines Day weekend was booked. First off I got to the room . I'm handed a key and used it with the door. The key wouldn't turn the doorknob. I get in the door the door knob is very loose and hanging. I look up to the ceiling. There is a wire hanging from the ceiling 0 smoke detector. The room was ice cold, could see through to the outside through the Crack. Water handles do not work properly. Very out of date. Drywall patches not sanded on the wall. I decided not staying 2 days only 1. Not a romantic getaway. I told David shortly after checking in , only staying one day. Id like a refund on the 2nd day. I was promised a refund when we checked out Saturday morning. I said OK ( I didnt understand though why I couldn't till then). So I went to check out and he wasn't at the desk. I had to call number on desk. I told him im here to check out and ready for my refund. He said he can't now id have to wait till Tuesday and he will take care of me when manager was in. It's Tues and ignored booking and me,till call from a different phone saying want to make a reservation then he answered right away. Now he will talk to Hamma and I'll get it tomorrow . I have a feeling I'll not get my money back or will take forever. If anybody stays here, you might want to get your head examined. My Valentines weekend getaway was ruined

• Clean the rooms every other day. Stay 4 days and the room was never cleaned
