Spruce Lane Lodge and Cottages

The quietness of the area most of the time. It is located adjacent to a private airfield, but the planes didnt distract us much.

The cottages are in slight cosmetic disrepair. The bathroom door was misaligned and wouldn’t close without lifting it. The bed was an old spring mattress with pills on the surface and was not the greatest sleep each night.

Privacy, parking was great! It was very clean, quiet and the host was very polite!

Need more towels. Only one set for two people. Room needed a blow dryer.

We have been coming for years in past few trips notice decline in upkeep it looks like owner needs to go on site and inspect it

Needs basics window blinds strings broken on all but one TV did not work they tried to fix later it got reception but it was all snow. Toilet fill was running when we walked in I adjusted. light bulb the toilet room don't work room 51a

Noise from private airport next door. Parking lot needed to be cleaned up!

The room was large with all the amenities. Easy to find. The contactless check in and out was convenient. I was met by one of the owners who helped me get into my room. Sarah white was very pleasant checked me in and out. I would stay there again.

A good place to stay that met our needs....didn't need anything fancy, i.e. pool, breakfast. Clean, good location to get to our other destinations. Would consider staying here again.

Great location in the country right next to Smoketown Airport, and I mean "right next to"! Literally on the edge of the runway to this small airport frequented by single prop aircraft. As a retire USAF Crew Chief, it was perfect for me.

i really like the little cottage and how very clean the rooms are.

one mattress was a little uncomfortable. But not that bad.

Location is great.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed here in the last few years and it’s gone down hill since the first stay. Planters outside of the window are rotting, condensation on the window because of the seal, most of the blinds (the pink ones) do not work so you can’t even have natural sunlight. The bathroom door where we stayed last time you couldn’t shut without lifting up on the door and slamming. There was a bandaid on the room my brother was in, so it wasn’t really cleaned. We left around 8:00AM and with 3 inches of snow the sidewalks hadn’t been touched yet .

Cottage was very spacious .

No counters to put items on!! Thought I would have a small kitchen! Not just a microwave! Only one key was available to room!

No breakfast. These are cottages but have a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator/freezer so you could fix something for yourself. Small table and chairs.

Bathroom door stuck. sink faucet needs to be replaced. Functional but not a solid stream of water.
