    Pros +

    • The breakfast area was so nice, it felt like we were eating in a gourmet coffee shop. Also they had fresh melon at breakfast.
    • Continental Breakfast
    • The location was perfect for a family. Great activities and restaurants on site. The staff was amazing. Tatyana & Sydney were so kind and recommended a great take-out spot for our family after a long day of traveling.

    Cons -

    • Like most residence inns, the sofa bed mattress was thin and there was no whole milk option.
    • The king room was not fully equipped. There was a dirty sock in the pull-out bed and no blanket or sheet
    • Mattress was too firm. No bathtub just shower. Went to local ACME for groceries and there was a crowd in the parking lot and police. Not sure why but got our of there quickly.

Great breakfast. Convenient to train station. Nice outdoor area. Nice game room. Loved kitchenette with utensils, plates, even salt and pepper.

Mattress was too firm. No bathtub just shower. Went to local ACME for groceries and there was a crowd in the parking lot and police. Not sure why but got our of there quickly.

It was clean and comfortable. The onsite cafe and bar were great. They have a delicious complementary breakfast.

When I arrived to check in, I was told no water for at least 6 hours, maybe more. No assistance to find another hotel

    Everything

Great staff, spacious room, comfortable bed.

Problems with hot water in room, pool heater not working (disappointing - we looked forward to using indoor pool), hallway not clean.

Good food options, helpful and cheerful staff.

Would have enjoyed reading a local newspaper over breakfast. Diet Coke

    10JanettePosted on: 11-25-2025

That breakfast was included in the price. Staff was friendly. The location was beautiful, with much to do within walking distance.

Price. It was high, but I still thought we got more than what that proce usually provides.

Beautiful hotel, very nice and updated.

We had a very cold breakfast. Eggs and potatoes were ice cold.

Exceedingly spacious rooms with a real kitchen, comfortable living area, including couch and a great bed. Plenty of space and light. Expansive common areas, nice breakfast. Outdoor seating adjacent the river. Appreciated that coffee was available 24/7. Nicely done esthetic integration with former steel plant. Kudos to the Architect.

Perfect location for our needs, but probably not a good place to stay if your business is in downtown Philadelphia

The location was perfect in correlation with what we were there for. It was only an 11 minute walk away! The hotel and room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast they serve was one of the best I've had at a hotel and the staff at the breakfast was very helpful. There was a lady where you first entered the breakfast that was there to answer any questions like how to make a waffle and there was always staff cleaning up the tables so other guest could sit. I would definitely stay here again

The only thing negative i could say is the way their curtains are in the room there is light that comes out the very top that you really can't control so if you like a dark room wear an eye mask if you want to sleep in

Location near a river. And the presence of a top notch restaurant nearby.

I was very displeased by how it is was impossible to raise the temperature inside the room above 78 degrees farhenheit. When we arrived, the temperature had been set at 56: that is insane as the summer outside is lovely and I love to be warm. We stayed 3 nights and requested no room service so as to not disturb our "heat" setting, but the temperature really never lifted above 78 degrees in spite of my 84 degree setting. I was cold at night and no blanket were provided in the room. Meanwhile, the vents that conduct both AC air and heating air are very noisy (that would account for why I cannot complain about any neighbor's noise: the heating made so much noise it would have been difficult to hear anything else!) On the second day, we also noticed strange beige flakes gathering on the black TV stand and some on our bed stands as well. Where did these particles came from? It had to be the heat vent. Every morning we cleared the flakes, but they came back by the evening- as the vents kept roaring. I am never coming back to this poorly designed hotel. It is nice to rehabilitate an old building in an interesting location, but the architecture is not stunning, and the decor is all plastic, fake wood and cheap fake tiles. The heating ducts are noisy, and we might have been breathing all night bad chemicals in the form of bizarre flakes oozing out of the ducts. Also, the water quality from the taps was VERY subpar- smelly and chlorinated to the hilt. I liked to drink water from municipal sources: this was the wrong place to do that, unfortunately.

Everything! Clean, spacious, yet cozy and inviting. Public spaces were amazing! Our suite was perfection, well thought out, every single thing considered. High end finishes, spotlessly clean. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful, ESPECIALLY Tatyana and Helen!!! The location was like NO OTHER! So cool!

Love that it’s a dog-friendly hotel, but (for all hotels) like smoking and non-smoking rooms, for allergy sufferers, there should be dog rooms and non-dog rooms. Nothing at all property-specific, but an observation.

Great little place very close to where I needed to be in bala cynwd. Has amenities like a gym and indoor pool two restaurants 24 hour coffee, tea, water and small snack shop. Friendly staff.

Uncomfortable Bed and pillows. Bed leaned to the left slightly, pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast closes at 9 which is a little early. The casual restaurant closes at 6 which is to early which leaves only a the more formal place as an option if you need to stay in.

Man over the phone (I think his name was Naseed) informed me earlier in the day that I needed to arrive by 6pm so I would be guaranteed a room. My card had declined that morning due to my bank considering it fraudulent activity (especially since I'm out of state). Me stressing to get there by that time, we hit bad traffic, so I called at 5pm to let him know about the traffic and to possibly use a different credit card. A woman answered..stated he was gone for the day..but assured me a room so that I would less stressed. Upon arrival, she was relaxed, very sweet and accommodating. She evidently worked overnight, because I also checked out with her as well. She's a great staff member!
