On 4 acres of oceanfront property, Tillicum Beach Motel - Formerly Deane's Oceanfront Lodge is in Yachats. Free Wi-Fi access and easy access to long stretches of beaches is available here. A cable satellite TV and a DVD player are provided in each room at Deane’s Oceanfront Lodge. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and a coffee machine. Featuring a bathtub or shower, the private bathrooms have a hairdryer and free toiletries. Select rooms feature a sea view, and pet-friendly rooms are available. Other facilities include a shared lounge and a library with DVDs, puzzles, games, and books to borrow. Free coffee and donuts are provided in the lobby every morning, and soft drinks and candy are available for purchase. Cape Perpetua, with its many hiking trails, is 5.5 miles away. The motel is 21 miles from Newport, and 28 miles from Florence.

Pros +
- The beach!
- Beautiful spot. Felt safe and secure with wonderful access to the beach.
- This hotel is on a nice piece of property at the beach. The rooms are not huge but they are clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable!
Cons -
- The only bother some thing was the cool little electric fire type heater. Would stove looking? The fan was ticking and was too noisy to use while trying to sleep, but the words backup alternative heat sources that were acceptable, but that's all
- The only thing I was unhappy about was the charge for having a dog is $20/day! This seems excessive especially since my dog is a Chihuahua.
- While it was indeed very clean, I was quite put off by the strong bleach smell¿in the room and in the linens. I thus slept with all the windows open and the heater running all night¿not very energy efficient.
