    Cons -

    • Bathroom smelt like mold, tool them pver an hour to switch our room, we stay in the 1 in salem or all the time, and figured thos would be about tje same. It was terrible.
    • The noise level was unbelievable during the night from the outside traffic. So bad, that they supposedly leave early plugs for you.

Clean, great breakfast and centrally located.

Spa was closed for repairs which differed from projection when we made reservation. We had been hoping to jump in jacuzzi after snowshoeing on Mt. Hood. Oh well, it was still a pleasant stay. Close proximity to the sushi place was nice.

New building, clean room! Great view for just a little extra cost.

Slow computers made check in process very slow (approx 20 minutes).

    Professional Staff Cleanliness

Bed was too firm A little noisy in the hotel - thin walls?

    10CynthiaPosted on: 1-23-2022

Location was perfect. Beds and sheets were great. Breakfast better than most these days!

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-30-2021

I liked it was close to train.

The stairwell smells like animal piss and I was not informed that the pool was not going to be open as I had three of my kids with me that were pretty bummed.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-1-2021

Cleanliness and how quiet it is even though it is close to the freeway. Close to waterfront park.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-14-2021

Easy access from the highway. The room was very large and comfortable. Lots of device plug-ins in the room.

Highway noise was pretty bad. Homeless camp just 50-ft from one of the hotel entrances.

The King Studio was a perfect aize room for our family. The hotel is kept immaculate. Best water pressure in a hotel I ever had and all of the staff were friendly.

The per pet, per day fee is too expensive. $50 extra per day for two dogs is too much.

    10PaulaPosted on: 3-16-2021

The room was spacious and clean. Had a great space with a fridge and counter. Also a beautiful view of the river.

Compared to the quality of the room, the bed and pillows were not so great.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-12-2021

The quiet and the smoking area out back by the river

Only having powdered milk options for tea and coffee in the room.

    10JennaPosted on: 12-24-2019

the lobby smelled amazing, and the breakfast was fantastic. i also liked the availability of womens hygiene products in the lobby bathroom.

The king river view room had a surprisingly small window. The toilet paper was reallllllllllllly cheap. The only available microwave was way down in the lobby. No "adult only" hours or rule at the hot tub.

Every staff member was very friendly

Nothing I disliked about the hotel. Noisy people in next room first night but fine after that.

    6JaninePosted on: 4-17-2018

The hotel is in a good location. Big rooms. Noisy can hear everything even people talking outside. Needs better noise buffers. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was little to be desired. We went else where to eat.

Screwed up our room. Were supposed to have king suite got a queen standard. Had paid online so couldn't refund my money. Very loud hear everything and I mean everything from outside to the neighbors in the next rooms.. Overpriced for little privacy.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-3-2018

The location of the hotel was great. Loved the room with a river view. Room was very well maintained.

    10PhilipPosted on: 12-26-2017

The hotel was nearly new, very clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, and activities. Our room had a beautiful view of the Columbia River as an extra bonus. The free breakfast was ok too

I still get annoyed when wifi is not free. Build an extra buck into each night's stay to pay for it, for God's sake, and don't annoy me with a sign up fee and some bogus "somebody's trying to hack your info" pop up when you try to use it.
