    Pros +

    • Great location, clean and comfortable room, excellent $5 breakfast
    • The staff at the hotel were great-housekeeping and front desk. I left my Kindle reader behind, housekeeping turned it in and Bonnie on the front desk got things organized to ship it back to me here in Seattle. Give her an "atta girl" !!
    • This is an old vintage hotel. Beautiful lobby and mezzanine. Located in the middle of town.

    Cons -

    • There was 1 small thing- I know the windows are most likely original, when it was windy, the windows rattled.I am a very light sleeper, does not take much to wake me up. Maybe
    • Small rooms
    • Booked and am still being charged for a King Deluxe room. Upon arrival, staff claimed to have no reservation on file. After pulling up my confirmation email they suddenly had record of the booking. Was downsized and charged full amount. Bait and switched

Location near theatres, great restaurant( Larks) decor of lobby, helpful staff, free breakfast - and great afternoon cookies!

Room size ( snug for three), same breakfast every morning!!

    history, location and charm.

Room repairs needed. A bit worn, doors need oil for loud squeaks. Also, toilet was clogged. However, repair person came very quickly!!

Gorgeous, historic and clean at the same time, in the heart of Ashland, bed and sheets are sparkly clean, hot breakfast and friendly personnel. Do i need to say anything else?

    Location is central to everything

Checkout was awkward as no one was present so just dropped the keys and left.

    Location.love shower head

The toilet to small/low..The toilet paper was behind you.and the breakfast needs meat..Cold Windows..Need double pane.

The look and historic feel was great. The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere.

The room was small. I have a medical condition that requires a lot of supplies that need refridgeration. So moving around that was a little tight. I would not keep me from coming back.

location is fabulous; walking distance to almost everything. lobby ambience terrific. food very good!

we were in a petite queen. workable but very small.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-22-2017

Location was very central and convenient. Parking easy right behind the hotel. Full breakfast served in pleasant sunny dining room.

Queen boutique room was small with no view at all. Staff cool but capable.

The Hotel and staff was very nice. Location is perfect.

My room 214 was tiny as was the shower. I mean TINY!!!

We loved staying in the middle of everything; especially in a local landmark with high standards. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Hotel Employee , at the front desk, was especially hospitable. We'll definitely be back.

    9CatherinePosted on: 2-18-2017

Location, charm and character as well as afternoon tea and an extensive continental breakfast.

THE garbage truck went off very early right outside our window.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-3-2016

Old fashioned, classy hotel right in the middle of downtown Ashland. Very comfy beds, nice lobby, nice continental breakfast, nice toiletries. This is probably the nicest place I've stayed in years.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, typical of old fashioned hotels I've stayed in. IMO, the rest of the package far outweighed this. But if you like need lots of space, you're probably better off elsewhere.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-24-2016

This is heritage Hotel. It is right in the middle of a shopping area in a college town. The hotel is very clean and very will manage. It is an older building With some of the elegance that is associated with a very high-quality older hotel. We enjoyed ou

So beautiful!! Right in the center of town too. Loved the coffee and cookies.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-20-2016

Very small rooms, no bathtub, no way to do laundry and the decor was like being in my grandma's guest room in a bad way.
