Feeling of quality. Little additions by the staff made it special. Front desk personnel were kind and accommodating It was a holiday weekend so we had to skip the breakfast and get on the road early, so no report on the breakfast menu.

The stairs up to the room

Charming, nicely decorated room, great location.

The shower could only be accessed by climbing up two tile/fiberglass steps (next to the tub) that were not safe when exiting. The toilet stopped working late in the evening, and there was only one staff member on duty who could not leave office.

The location is great. The staff were welcoming and engaging. Good breakfast (included), a step above the usual. Room was neat, clean, and comfortable. And the price was perfect.

This is a very minor quibble...our room was quite compact. We had a King bed, and there was also a small table and 2 chairs as well as an armoire closet. It was a lot for that space. But we still loved it!

Very centrally located. You can easily walk to OSF or into Ashland.

Rooms are old and dated. Air conditioner/heater was noisy.

Location was perfect for our needs!

Our room was warm when we arrived (though it was during a heat wave)

The decor and paint was very nice.

There was an ant infestation in our room...on the bedside tables, walls, and baseboards. There were no other rooms. I slept backwards in bed to avoid ants in my hair. AC was very loud. No caffeinated tea provided at breakfast, only herbal.

I was charged $250 for "smoking in the room". This is a false statement, I don't even smoke. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I wasn't even charged for the room until a week later.

Location, friendly staff, clean sheets and bathroom. The suites and rooms across the street, disconnected from the lobby are much nicer than the rooms connected to the lobby building.

My room a few doors down from the lobby was very tiny, old decor, smelled weird, had a connecting door to the adjacent room which sounded like the people were inside my room. Super creepy, very thin walls. Do not recommend staying in those rooms at all.

Easy and quick check-in. The rim was very nice and clean. I was super impressed about the "fresh" bagged clean remote considering Covid. I liked the fact that breakfast to go (muffins, granola bars, coffee & juice) were set outside of the office.

Room smelled like a urinal and moved to next room that smelled like old milk.heating system looked unclean and went on repeatedly.better to turn off and try to stay warm under sketchy blankets.no one at desk overnight therefor no breakfast at departure.

What a hidden gem, friendly staff, nice accommodations in a wonderful college town

Location was fantastic. Walkable you downtown.

Could hear people walking upstairs and people in the room next door. Thin walls. Outdated decor - but clean enough. Staff was friendly. Just and older property.

This hotel was located in a great part of town, felt very safe and was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was also very kind and attentive. Easy check in. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet, close to restaurants, staff, jacuzzi tub.

Needs more large towels near jacuzzi tubs and rugs?

So convenient to OSF theaters and downtown Ashland - everything in walking distance!

Parking was definitely difficult, as the lot was not near large enough to accommodate all guests' vehicles. Otherwise, very pleasant stay, wonderful breakfast buffet!

Location was the best feature of the motel.

It is a motel, with rooms opening to the parking lot. Somewhat noisy and generally not a nice as a similar rated Hotel.

friendly people, nice friendly workers, comfortable beds, better than usual breakfast, great location.

There was a funny sounding heating system, but I got used to it.
