Hampton Inn & Suites Xenia Dayton

The location. Restaurant was across the street & within 8 min of the funeral. Nice clean area to visit with family.

My brother's room didn't have a working light above his sink. The whole room darkening shade was missing from my room. Normally when you arrive you're given free bottled water. The 3 of us weren't offered any.

Location

Bed is not very comfortable. Something about the older beds on those stands hurts my lower back

The comforter had a large stain . Right where you it would cover yourself. Smaller yellow stains on the other bed comforter, livable with. Looked like a blood stain on one pillow case.

Safety. Ample parking with lighted lots. Secured room doors. Convenient ice machines. Complimentary waters at check in.

Cleanliness of the room (carpets & floors left our feet black). Breakfast was way below Hilton expectations(hot food was gone 1.25 hrs before closing, lmtd options, no grease for the waffle griddle, hard boiled eggs frozen). Too high price for Wed night.

Leaving

1.broken bathroom door, 2. broken toilet paper holder, 3. no freezer in the little fridg., 4. dirty carpet and floor. 5. spill on the floor on friday, still there when we checked out on Sunday.

The staff

This was one of the worst hotels I have had in quite a while. The fridg had no freezer in it, the bathroom sliding door, was damaged and hung up constantly, the toiletm paper holder was broken, the carpet and floor was dirty, beds were wore out.

The location

Had to ask to have my room cleaned and there was only one seating instrument and that was a chair.

Good location.

The carpet in the halls need shampooing. There was mold on the shower ceiling and the shower soap container was empty. I booked 3 rooms for our group and they still charged one our group members for a room. It took getting the manager to fix it.

Everything was great. Staff, room, food, gym.

Rooms are clean and comfy; staff are friendly, breakfast is delicious!

Overall cleanliness of the hotel was great. Having access to a washer and dryer was a huge plus.

The beds were very uncomfortable; so much so my husband slept of the floor. Also, when first arriving it took longer than usual, waiting on someone who wasn¿t in training to check us in.

The hotel is in a very central area to eating and shopping establishments. Its also not on a main throughway either.So its quiet.

I was charged for the room when my arrival was delayed although I was staying in another Hampton Inn in route. I suggested to move my arrival to the next day instead of me paying for two rooms that night. No response from management.

The room was large. I liked having the couch, and the storage and counter space were more than adequate. The lobby and dining area were nicely decorated.

Difficulty getting Internet No ice bucket No hair dryer ¿ I brought my own, but I haven¿t been in a hotel or motel ¿ even a no name ¿ for the last five years that didn¿t have a hair dryer And finally - the absolute worst pillows I¿ve ever had

It smelled nice and new, the rooms were very big. I really like the new sop in bottles in the shower

The hallway needed shampooed cleaned in some areas. Had coffee in the warmers early in the morning when the breakfast is not being served.

There was only one good staff she had really short hair

Over charged me and someone tried breaking in my room I had to go to the police no soap and found bed bugs I am heading to the er because I was ate up

Breakfast was AWESOME!!! Even though young kids were loading up 3 plates each and hoarding everything the staff that restocked the breakfast are was really good at staying ahead of the game.

It must be made of wood and paneling! You can hear EVERYTHING folks above and near you do!!! Doors closing is VERY LOUD, walking above sounds like stomping the floor! The Mattress was SUPER FIRM and uncomfortable, didn't sleep with the noise and hard bed!

staff is limited, If the desk clerk is busy on the phone, you have to wait as they are the only person there.
