Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Clairsville Wheeling

Roommwqa flirty. Keyboard didn't work. Stayed somewhere else

Clean, had all amenities listed.

SOMEBODY KNOCKED ON THE DOOR, DID NOT ANSWER BECAUSE I WAS NOT DRESSED, YELLED YES TWICE. APPARENTLY HE DID HEAR ME AND OPENED THE DOOR AND LOOKED IN AND SAID HOUSEKEEPING. AFTER I BOOKED ANOTHER NITE. VERY CREEPY! AND THEY CHARGE EXTRA FEES FOR BOOKING

Indian Clark, very professional

Older female desk clerk wanted to charge me extra because I paid for another night?

Has been remodeled, very clean

Female desk clerk wanted to charge me $20 extra because I wanted to stay another night when I told her I would check out him back in. She said well then I?m gonna charge you for a late check out.

Room and breakfast area were clean and well kept. Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator had been defrosted and worked well.

Leaving

a family of 5 (which we had) was only given 2 towels. maid did not come and clean at all during our stay. room was dirty when arrived

I was told I could check in early but then was kicked out a day early without prior agreement.

Always stay there when we get the chance. This was the first time that the floor turned my socks black rather quickly.

Dirty floor need more lighting in the room

Friendly staff, great location, nice in ground pool, nice rooms

The floor of the room could?ve been cleaner

The price and needs some one with better English but was very nice and would go there again

Good location and price.

Floors were dirty. You couldn't tell until you took off your shoes.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool is clean. Rooms have mini fridge.

While the rooms are basically clean, the doors and floor could use a deep clean

Spending $--- a night, I was slightly worried but to be completely honest this room has beat $--- rooms we stayed at along our trip. Didn¿t stick around for breakfast. 10/10 for how much we spent.

Slightly sketchy outside but again, the room is cheap. Would stay again if that says anything.

Price, pool and location

Cleanliness was poor. No hair dryer or coffee in room. Floors were dirty. Clothes and food from last occupants left in drawers

They cleaned every day and actually changed the bedding¿I was on my monthly and embarrassed but they changed sheets and cleaned without me asking . Gave us clean towels every day. Other hotels never did any of that so I appreciated it a lot !!

I have NEVER been harassed by motel staff until here. Then when complained about the owner sides with the lobby woman who is beyond unprofessional in every way. I spent -- staying here just to be thrown out for confronting the rude staff

The staff. The owner. Unprofessional. Staff mocked me for being sick and acted as if she had power. Lied to the owner. Don¿t stay here if you need an extended stay

It was clean

We had to extend our stay twice. Not once but twice they INSISTED they be allowed in our room. Without notice! The second time I objected and was told that if they could not come in before noon we would be escorted out by police. Excuse- smoke alarm

Yes, if you stay longer than a week you receive a phone call that your room and smoke detectors need inspected. No notice was given. The phone rings and you¿re advised of this. I¿m a very private person and I did not appreciate this at all

The room was good size and bed was comfortable.

Wish the room had a small table next to the right of the bed to put my phone and drink.

This is the third time we've stayed here. We have two small dogs which they accommodate for a nominal price. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it is close to nice restaurants.

I could tell they were cutting back on stuff like soap and shampoo which I understand for the price but I was disappointed in the breakfast bar, not enough selection.
