- Elevator was not working.. need to take stairs to 3rd floor
- Being newly remodeled the room was awesome. It was beautifully done with new decor, flooring and new wall coverings. They did a great job! The hotel is undergoing a full remodeling. This is the reason for a lower score on the cleanliness.
- Location was helpful, price ok.
Cons -
- Not up to the standards we usually find at HI Express. Felt a bit dirty and worn.
- There was a fire alarm early in the morning that came on for about 2 minutes and then stopped. No one addressed it, and no one gave any idea of what was going on with it. Additionally our bedsheet had stains on it and the A/C unit had a broken part.
- Old hotel in need of renovation. Beds very uncomfortable. Shower floor was cracked and shower head was attached with zip tie. Water flooded the bathroom floor so need many towels to soak up water. Carpet was old and sticky.
