    Pros +

    • The rooms were absolutely beautiful from the decor to the floor
    • The rooms are nice and spacious, jacuzzi, fireplace, nice pool, hot tub
    • the tub was nice

    Cons -

    • I did not know that the restaurant and the pool were separate buildings. When it's 22 little chilly to walk to.
    • Game room closed, tower closed, not much to do, too. Expensive for what?s available
    • The phone service and wifi were out. Sketchy throughout. They gave her a REAL hard time checking in. I failed to put her name on the reservation, even though she had a printout with my email listed, we live at the same address, and presented her valid DL

They hotel is absolutely beautiful! It¿s nestled away in the woods away from all. It allows you to enjoy Mother Nature without all of the noises that come with being by the city

The room had a bunch of sugar ants.

The uniqueness of the hotel and rooms.

Restaurant- quality of food was not favorable - portions were small, eggs had to be sent back and the home fries were over cooked, toast was not butter and cold when received so the butter would not melt.

The quiet and serene atmosphere was a definite perk for someone trying to escape the sound of the city! Gardens were beautiful, castle was gorgeous. I loved the pool room. Very cozy and nice. The robes provided add to the experience.

I was under the impression we would actually be staying in the castle, instead of a building beside the castle....

    When I got home

    Outdated and overpriced.

    The beautiful outdoors

paper thin walls could hear your neighbors

Beautiful facility! We particularly enjoyed the gaming room in the pool hall in addition to our room. Warm staff. I loved the variety of pillow types on the bed too.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. However, I wish there had been real half and half included with the coffee service in our room.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room was like new and comfortable.

I misunderstood thinking I actually booked my room in the castle but was in the Stable - very nice and clean but atmosphere was different- again this may have been my misunderstanding,

everything the pool was amazing with a swim in cave. the onsite restaurant was amazing also the entire property felt like you were spending time with your rich friends. I cant wait to plan my next visit

having to leave was the worst part. not having enough time to explore the castle and property better cause we only stayed 2 days. not getting to spend more time with our awesome neighbors from the suite beside us

We loved the Christmas lights, the hot tub, the fireplace and the fact that there was a restaurant on site even though it was a terrible experience at the restaurant.

Parking is difficult for seniors. Especially carrying your things back and forth to the car. They had us park by check-in so we had to walk down to check in and then back up to get our things and then back down to take our stuff to the cabin and then back up to parking to move our car because they have a policy where you can't keep your car there overnight. The restaurant was ridiculously unorganized. We had reservations and they couldn't find our reservation. We waited 15 minutes and then they seated us. Someone brought us bread and butter but didn't have any silverware and any drinks yet. She came to take our order and we asked if we could have drinks and silverware. She didn't come back for a while. Probably a half an hour after we already waited 15 minutes with bread and butter and no silverware or drinks. After maybe 45 minutes we got our dinners but my granddaughter never got her salad. We had to ask for that also. She was very friendly though and I felt bad for her. The hostesses were not friendly whatsoever. The food was so so definitely not a place I would go back to. They should honestly be ashamed.

The castle and the quite/peaceful surroundings were wonderful. Beautiful fall decorations and landscaping.

Power outage lasting a few hours. Lipstick print was seen on unused wine glass...

    The whole property was beautiful!

Had a jet tub and I went to use it and mold came shooting out when I turned the jets on

The little shop was cute, however prices were a bit high and they didnt have much in it.

The property wasnt very exciting, our room smelled funny, had ants and they actually got into my purse, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and not much going on. When we checked out the front desk was not friendly and offered nothing to help with our stay.

The location is beautiful and the staff is awesome.

The game room was a mess due to the wedding guests. They used the game room as their own locker room and other guests were unable to use it. It was very disappointing.

    10EmilyPosted on: 7-28-2025

Beautiful! All of the rooms were booked but we felt like we had a private castle to ourselves. It is very quiet and relaxing. The sound of the waterfall was calming. We had a wonderful experience!

Room was filthy, stay was 225$ a night, tv didnt work. Literal cobwebs and spiders in every corner. Towel rack fell off the wall in bathroom just trying to take the towel off the rack. Beautiful landscape unclean conditions.
