Hampton Inn & Suites Elyria

It was clean and neat. All staff was outstanding..just outstanding except for the manager. I stay at this hotel every year and a large party of my family members. We will not be back. Hotel employee was cruel..mocking..rude..sarcasric. awful

the manager..rude..condescending. has no business deali g with the public and needs fired..my family had stayed here every year for many years out of loyalty. We will not be back.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. They also had the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. Very clean and comfortable as well!

An amazing hotel in a dying part of town unfortunately. But congratulations for maintaining high levels of excellence despite that.

it is a week later and they still have not credited my credit card with the incidental fees that charged when we checked in...50.00 is a lot of money to me. I want it back!!!

Air conditioning unit is not clean full on dust in the filter and top area. Poor maintenance. Restroom shower is not convenient at all.

Breakfast was great.

Location was out of the way and it seemed the staff was slow to respond to requests for towels or toilet paper.

It was extremely quiet, a nice central location, and staff were beyond helpful.

Breakfast selection seemed a little bit light, but the overall experience was good. Breakfast staff attendant was so very nice and extremely helpful.

Always stay at the Elyria location when visiting the family as always have wonderful service. From the front desk, breakfast staff and cleaning staff.

There was always staff around to get anything we needed. Everything was very clean for as busy as those ladies. stay.

There really should be a few more towels in the room upon checking in. I renting 3 rooms total and none of the rooms had more then towels.

It was pretty new so it was clean.

We got this motel for the pool and continental breakfast and when we checked it the pool was down for maintenance (so they could of warned me) and the appliances to make your breakfast (waffle maker, toaster, etc) were also broken.

This hotel is a hidden gem next to an abandoned shopped center and defunct Days Inn conference Center. Give it a chance. Once inside the staff is pleasant, the breakfast buffet is ample, the rooms are clean and well designed and the bed is super comfy.

The room had awful, big and gnarly spider webs covered in dirt and dust on either side of the a/c. I woke up with like 7 spider bites on my legs. The food was also pretty bad. However the location and staff were great. Will not stay there again.

Road/driveway leading to hotel needs some work - pretty rough asphalt

We've stayed here several times as the halfway point to our destination. It is right off of the highway and a pleasant stay.

After exiting the interstate and driving towards the motel you feel you have entered a bombed-out area until you get to the property. The staff can be friendlier. They are pleasant but do not go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

To get to the hotel you have to drive past a closed Sears and a closed Days Inn. The depressing looking road is in disrepair and lined with unkempt tall weeds.

They recently upgraded the bathrooms but kept the showers. They should have at least redid the caulking in the shower.

Room was not clean had a bad Oder that smelled bad. Morning individual claimed to be the manager had a poor personality, lacking knowledge in the human relation principles. She needs to learn how to conduct business with her customers in pleasant way.

IN order to reach this hotel you have to drive through a blighted mall, past a dilapidated former Sears and a decaying closed Days Inn on a rutted roadway.

Convenient location with the amenities that I needed.

The surrounding mall and neighboring hotels are vacant and properties unkempt so the area appears depressed.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was the closest to normal that we have encountered in quite a long time.

Common areas and elevator smelt heavily of marijuana. Location was ok but everything around it is abandoned/shut down.
